    I officially scrapped the South Beach Diet today after 2.5 days. I gained 3 lbs. Have been so dizzy I’ve almost passed out four times. I’ve been lethargic. And have an almost completely non-functioning GI tract.

    I’m a lacto/ovo vegetarian who eats sushi twice a month, so by SBD taking away my oatmeal, sprouted-grain bread, yogurt, non-fat milk, and fresh fruit, it’s been a nightmare that feels like it’s lasted for weeks, not 2.5 days.

    Maybe SBD a good diet for people who consume crap like fried food, fast food, cookies, chips, candy, soda, alcohol, etc. But it was horrible for me.

    I’m going to celebrate kicking this diet to the curb by having a big juicy grapefruit!
