In the beggining of tonight’s two hour episode the two teams discussed how hard it was to vote off Jen even though they didn’t like her. The red team hopes now that they can be as close to eachother like the blue team. The blue team was definitely feeling good about themselves for being so tight and working together they felt they had the advantage over the red team.

Ken from Washington got a phone call saying his son was in CCU. He had some complications from a surgery and Ken broke down. Ken was in tears and he discussed the situation with Kim and made the decision to stay at the ranch.

Kim and Bob tell their individual teams they are taking them to the beach for the week to work out. Kim’s team, the red team, all go silent because they don’t want to go to the beach. When Bob tells his team they get excited and are ready to go. They go outside and there are old time ford mustang convertibles waiting for them. They get inside and some can barely fit the cars are so small. Once at the beach the teams struggle to work out in the sand. It’s a lot harder to work out in the sand than they thought.

The first temptation they walk up to 26 sand castles and underneath each one there is either a piece of chocalate worth 175 calories, a carot stick worth 30 calories, or immunity. Both teams contemplate it especially Pam from the red team who feels like if she were to go home right now she might not continue. The blue team keep Bob in mind and Bob said you play you pay. Both teams resisted temptation and went back to the trainers who were proud and they had a barbeque on the beach with healthy turkey burgers and salads.

The challenge was both teams had to build sand high enough to reach their flag wich was hanging from a pole. It was a tough challenge and a close race and Wylie got hurt when Nelson jumped to reach the flag and fell on his neck. The game paused for a minute until Wylie said he was ok then it was back on both teams raced to pile the sand high enough for a team member to grab the flag, in the end the red team won. Their prize was a care package from home where they found pictures and letters and other things from their families.

The teams went back to the ranch for their final workout, the blue team really were working hard all week and felt that they had this in the bag. The red team who had their ups and downs didn’t know what to expect. Sometimes the red team would work against Kim like during the yoga workout but their punishment was to work harder. Some of the red team were envious of the relationship the blue team had with Bob, but was that because the blue team worked really well together and worked extremely hard for Bob?

At the final weigh in the red team chose Erik to sit out the weigh in because they felt he had lost the most weight this week. It was a good choice because he had lost 16lbs. All together the blue team lost 35 lbs at 3.34% weight loss. The red team needed 57lbs to win and they did more than that losing 79lbs. The blue team had to go in for their first elimination and they decided they were going to choose who they thought was the strongest and would definitely continue losing weight at home. They chose Tiffany from Texas. It was a touching elimination, no one had any bad words to say about anyone it was only because she showed strength that they eliminated her.
