Sapienzas vs Sentis Part ll

After ten days of being on the ranch both teams head home to try out their new lifestyle in the real world. Both families homes were of course equipped with healthy foods and excercise equipment and both familes had video messages form Bob and Jillian encouraging them to stay on track.
Just four weeks after leaving the ranch both teams begin to struggle. Robert, from the red team, is feeling the pressure of being on his own and Toni doesn’t feel like working out. On the blue team Kelly received a shipment of candy for the restaurant and ended up eating a half of a butterfinger and Tammy is refusing to do lunges because she can’t walk for three days afterward.
Twelve weeks until the final weigh in some team members question their progress. Scott (blue team) is doing great but Kelly has doubts about her progress. Daniella (red team) worries about Toni and Alexa because she feels like they might be losing focus.
Bob showed up to the Maid Rite diner and was most shocked by Scott’s weight loss. Bob brought with him turkey burgers for the family and they sat down and had lunch, turkey burgers without the bun. Bob learned that Kelly had picked up smoking again and was really upset. During a workout he wouldn’t stop making remarks about Kelly’s smoking and during an intense moment Kelly swore she would never smoke another cigerette if Bob would let go of her, and he did let go. He took her promise very serious, let’s just hope Kelly did too.
Jillian showed up to the gym where the red team were all working out. Jillian noticed a huge difference in Robert and Daniella and even Alexa but not in Toni. Jillian called Toni out letting her know their was no way she was sticking to the diet, otherwise she’d be losing a lot more progressively. Jillian works out the red team making Robert do pushups but keeping it fun with Alexa by kickboxing. Later she invites herself to dinner with the Sapienzas. After dinner Jillian has an alone moment with Alexa and she reads her food journal and finds items like potatoe chips, burger king, fritos, saltines, and others. Alexa was defensive not thinking that what she was doing was hurting her but that is why she wasn’t seeing the results she wanted to see. I think Jillian got through to her and they went clothes shopping for some cute items for Alexa’s new figure and to build her confidence.
Six weeks till the final weigh in Kelly is still worried she isn’t losing the weight. Robert is looking good but Toni looks about the same. Both teams receive a picture of their competition and the red team is most worried by Scott and Emily. The blue team were most impressed by Robert and Daniella and they were a little disappointed that they didn’t look like they were eating as much pasta as the blue team hoped.
One week before the weigh in the blue team go back to CA to workout with Bob. Emily had a big change in her, she was working hard and not quitting or complaining. After an intense workout Bob brought the doctor back and they had had Emily tested again and this time she showed no signs of diabetes at all! All her hard work had paid off.
At the final weigh in the red team was up first. Toni who started at 213 weighed in at 190, making her weight loss 23lbs. Alexa started at 191lbs and had a final weight of 166 losing 25lbs. Daniela started at 163 and weighed in at 121 with a weight loss of 42lbs. Robert’s starting weight was 276 and he weighed in at 197 making his weight loss 79lbs! The red team’s total was 169lbs at 20.05% weight loss.
The blue team needed to lose a total of 188lbs. Up first Scott lost 82lbs bringing him from a starting weight of 265 to a final weight of 183. Tammy started at 215 and weighed in at 161 giving her a 54lb weight loss. Kelly was 211 and weighed in at 169 with a 42lb weight loss. That left Emily needing to lose 10lbs! Emily’s starting weight was 250 and she weighed in at 186 giving her a weight loss of 64lbs! The blue team wins! Great job blue team for all your hard work.
