navigating the site - The Biggest Loser Fansite Forums

Ok folks, I'm new to the site and I'm finding it a bit difficult navigating. I thought I had things worked out with the new posts, but the problem is some how I'm missing some in the process. Is there any way to get just the new digest w/o having to read through all of the old posts?

So.... if you should reply to one of my posts and you notice I haven't answered a question or something, then please excuse me until I'm a bit more familiar with what's going on.

Oh, by the way.... what's the difference between "junior members", "members", and "senior members". I'm not too sure what to make of those categories.

If you look up at the tool bar you should see new posts, all you do is click on it and it should give you a list of new posts. If you want to see if anyone has replied to your posts click on user cp. If this doesn't help let me know I'll try to get you better info. As for the difference in members I'll have to ask my husband because I was wondering that myself

Beth, Thanks for the reply! I might be getting a bit nibby here, but is your husband on the board? I was just curious so that if he is we'll know who belongs with whom.

Ya I am her husband.

When you reply to a post or start a new thread you are autmatically subscribed to that thread. So anytime anyone replys to it it will show up on your User CP.

Also like Beth said if you hit New Posts it will show you all the new posts since the last time you logged in.

What a cute couple you make!!!!! This is ABSOLUTELY nothing my husband would ever do!!!! It's nice to see the two of you working together on this!

Yes!!!! It most certainly has helped!!!! That and noticing that there are more than one page to scroll through helps too. That way I can go straight to the last page w/o having to wait for the other ones to load really saves time.

I do enjoy working with my husband, although I have to admit he is the mastermind behind this. It's funny because just a week ago I was asking him the same exact questions you were asking because I realized people were replying to my posts and I had no idea. I am learning a lot from him which is great! Well I'm glad you got answers and if you need anything else just let us know

Thank you for answering these questions for weaverdelooh - I was wondering how I could go about reading the new posts without having to go through everything. Thank you for the tips on how to use the navigation bar.

Thanks for the tips as well, that will definately help, especially as the boards get fuller.
