Back to school and Back to losing again

Hello to everyone ...Well I'm back to getting my daughter ready for 6th grade and to losing again. My daughter and I went out shopping for back to school clothing and I was really amazed on how much she has grown. Where did my baby go? My daughter is wearing a size 3-5 in jr teens clothing. I'm not ready for her to grown up.
But since they go back to school in another week. I informed my daughter that she could still wear her summer clothing until it starts getting cooler. They had some fall clothing out as well. I told my daughter lets go to overstock.com and find her clothing that she would like. We did not find much in the stores.
Well as for me I have been doing well...not working out as much. But I did purchase a wrap around dress it was a size large comparing months ago when i had to purchase clothing in the plus size. I was really happy. I also purchased a jacket in a size 16 and I was happy as well. I had my daughters take a picture of me and I have it posted on my refrigerator to keep me on track. My goal this week is to lose 2 lbs and workout 3-4 times this week. I will reward myself with a bubble bath and a new pair of boots. So the next time that I have to take a picture of myself will be in December.

Hey Francine, was wondering where you have been. You sound like you are doing much better than the last time you posted and I am really glad to hear you are getting yourself back on track. It feels so good when you can fit into a smaller size doesn't it? You should be very proud of your accomplishments so far. I also like the way that you reward yourself for your progress, it's a good way to tell yourself that you love you! Great job

Welcome back Francine!

Ahhh never underestimate the power of a bubble bath. MUCH better than a food reward. My favorite bubble scents? Chocolate and vanilla, or peach. Clothes are nice too because you can get more than one use out of them. How long can a food reward last?? I agree with Missy on this. Good thinking! Cant wait to see the December pics. I know what you mean about time flying where kids are concerned. They seem to grow up overnight. I hope to have my own someday. Keep up the great work!

Hi Francine! We do not know each other but girl I know what ya mean by having your girl in a size 3-5 junior. My daughter started 5th grade and is wearing this size...she will be 11 in November and it doesn't seem fair that I do her shopping in junior clothes. She has an athletic build and the cutest booty...it scared me with how fast she is growing up. Can you believe how soon the girls are going through puberty nowadays? My daughter has already gone through it - the only thing she hasn't experienced yet is her period and I just know that is going to happen this year. Nooooooooooo!

Congrats on the smaller clothes - isn't it a great feeling when you see that the sizes you are wearing now are smaller. I'm right there with ya on this, too. Keep up the great work! I am right along with you on starting to get back on track with losing weight - my days are still crazy but I have to do something about getting back on track with taking care of myself first!

Keep on keeping on Girl!
