XXXtreme Weight Loss

Did anyone see this show? It was on the Discovery Health Channel this past Wednesday night. It was pretty interesting. The one I found really interesting was the woman that lost 167 pounds eating in reverse. Eating a big meal at breakfast, medium at lunch, and small at dinner. She is done eating for the day at 3pm at the latest. In the past it was not unusal for me to eat cereal, oatmeal, cream of wheat, pancakes, or even eggs for dinner. I would just eat what I was in the mood for. I don't think I would totally eat in reverse like she does like eating the cereal for dinner or being done with food by three but I do want to try the big, medium, small concept.

I've heard about this before. It does seem to make sense to eat your larger meal in the morning and smallest in the evening, that way your body has all day to burn more calories. I just don't know if I could make myself eat a big enough meal for breakfast, just don't seem to have the time in the mornings.

That seems really weird to me. I just don't understand by decreasing her foods during the day, how she is still getting a balanced meal? My calories are pretty consistant throughout the day, with my larger meals being breakfast, lunch and supper.

An example would be....
Breakfast: 425 cals
Snack: 245 cals
Lunch: 425 cals
Snack: 245 cals
Supper: 425 cals
Snack: 245 cals

She really didn't talk about calories that I remember. I just think her portions got smaller throughout the day. A lot of people thought it was weird and still do but it worked for her. She lost 167 pounds and has kept it off for 7 years now.
