Arm Falling Asleep

Does anyone else have this problem? I am wondering if I did something to the nerves in one of my arms because it's always just my left arm from my elbow down to around my wrist..it feels numb or asleep. It doesn't really matter what time of day it is..it just comes and goes all the time. It sort of has a small throbbing feel around my elbow but the rest of the arm just feels numb or asleep...just wondering if anyone else has experienced this?
