As a learner driver i do not know how people manage to talk on the phone and drive!!! I find it really hard as it is just to stay concentrated on the raod ahead!!!!!

Carrie I wasn't reffering to people like you who use radios to talk to dispatch etc but you hit the nail on the head about idiots who talk or text on their cell phones. I see it here all the time.

This may just sound like a rant about Malta but do people where you live care about the environment? It drives me mad with the amount of garbage thrown about in the countryside, in the towns and on the beaches. We're fast becoming the dirty man of the med. I have friends who dive and see all kinds of rubbish in the seas. It seems no one cares and when the government do a clean up the usually chop down trees deemed to be weeds. I recycle where possible but I'm not a bleeding hear environmentalist, I want a land rover for instance.

I know but I am an idiot who uses my cell when I drive in my car. But I am trained to know how to do two things at once. But it still slows down anyone's (including mine) reaction times.

Some are noticeable by their absence. Where did you go? I'm thinking about Jules who we've not heard from in a while.

Yes, there are some who were such regular frequent posters who have disappeared! Patty Ann is another one who I'm missing, but I know she was having problems with her housing. Anyway, I sure hope we hear a little something from them.

I too have been wondering where some of our friends have wandered off too. I tried to contact Elizabeth; but the email address is no longer valid. Unfortunately, the list of people I am trying to hunt down is long. I am hoping nobody has fallen off the bandwagon.
