Can't post for awhile

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile and maybe I will not for awhile. But I will come and get some inspiration from the gag here. I have been through somethings with my 11yr old daughter and her dad. The thing of the matter is that he just doesn't care about her. We have been to the court system and he was supposed to get her every other weekend. Well he only did one weekend in February of 2005. Since that he only seen her lets say this maybe 1 whole week if you bunch them together in 2005. He did not see her until Easter Day of this year and that was only 4 hours. He will call her and tell her you should call me more often. Well now that he is married to a lady that he meet off online (only known her a month) well they want to take her to NJ and WA.I told him that 1st thing you can't just call out of the blue and say that I want to take her out of the state. Too many things have been happening with child and I don't know the woman nor have I seen her. I can't just allow my child to go off with him like that. (2nd) On Father Day he took her for brunch to an Oyster Bar and he had 2 glasses of champagne and a bloody mary within an hour. She told her dad that she did not want to get in the car with him and he told her that he wasn't drunk and that it was ok. She spent the night and the next day I guess they were taking her dad to work and she said that when her dad got out of the car he said goodbye to his wife and her son and shut the door. His wife called out to him and said aren't you going to say goodbye to your daughter and he responded and said "oh goodbye to her. Her dad did not come to her 5th grade graduation (excuse i was at the doctor's office called at 10:20 our home) graduation started at 10:30am family not home. She is hurting but she is afraid to tell her dad how she feels about him treating her and his other daughter badly. He tells them that he doesn't have any money because he gives it all to his ex's for child support. When they do go to his home he doesn't do anything unless there is a lady there and he pawn them off on her. Now his 5th new wife asked my daughter if the marriage will work. Asking a 11yr old something like that tick me off. My daughter said that she doesn't know. Well i can say that the longest any of his marriages last was for a year and all the women left. He is a very violent and verbal man. He has never hit me. But he did say that he likes women with low self-esteem. I told him that he needs counselling because he has some deep rooted issues. I told him that I'm a strong person because I will not allow you to bully me. i told him that I will not allow her to travel with you and your wife because,,one you don't care for your daughter and that i have never met this woman and too may things have been happening with child and there father and I can't have that on my mind. Besides she has seen him hit all the women in the past and I can't allow her to go and if he gets angry and hit this woman while they are driving. Who knows what could happen.
But I am trying to stay focus and stay on track with my eating. Thank the Lord that I am not an emotional eater. I just don't eat at all. But I am trying to stay calm for her and just talk with my daughter.

Wow, I'm very sorry to hear you have to deal with all this crap right now. Hold your guard, I agree with you 100%. He shouldn't be allowed to just waltz into and out of her life when he pleases and when it's a good time for him. You don't need to allow that crap. I hope everything works out for you and your daughter.

Hi Francine,

I am sorry to hear about all the troubles you are having with your ex. As I said before when you first mentioned him; he sounds like a piece of work. (Putting it mildly). Dont let him continue to ruin your life or your daughter's life. Instead of focusing on him and wife number 5 (a real treat too), make this about bettering your lives. I bet your stress levels will go down and you will be happier and healthier overall. Plus, the best revenge of all is looking great! Live for yourself and your daughter, and not somebody who cant even make a committment to a pair of socks. If you need us; we are here for you.

Well today was great I was really exhausted from my family being here this weekend. I was up around 6:30 in the morning so I went out and had a nice long walk.(peaceful). I came back home and fixed my family breakfast turkey patties they were not happy about the patties. So they ate toast and cereal. I had 2 turkey patties and mixed fruit. That afternoon we went out and just shopped around. It was really nice and hot on Saturday. But I put that out of my mind and just enjoyed being a girl. I did take some veggies to snack on as we here out shopping. That evening I grilled some steak with squash and mushrooms and green peppers. I must say that I am happy that I am keeping up with my goal to be down 5lbs.by the end of this month.
Next week I am planning to go out and purchase an outfit in a size 12. That is my goal for the month of August.
I just want to say thank you all for your words of encouragement. It means a lot to me.

My mother used to say that if we didnt want what she was making to make our own meals. How can they not like Turkey patties? There are some out there that are really good and taste like sausage! Good for you for sticking to your guns and not giving in to the "Call of the Carbs!" Hope you had fun shopping for that size 12.

Keep up the great work!
~Carrie

I like walks too; they help me keep my sanity and a clear head!
