Biggest Loser at Work Club

Does anyone have any weblinks or directions for starting a BLC at work?
We have about 8 very motivated co-workers who have been walking 4 miles a day at lunch. We want to take this to the next level and really make the teamwork payoff. We are each going to put in $50 and award the pot to the winner in 8 weeks. Need to know how to figure out the percentage of weight loss as well as any other suggestions. Thanks!

Well, I don't know any links to it, but it would be easy enough to put together yourselves. Percentage of weight loss is easy to calculate. Say Jill weights 200 lbs at the start and loses 10 lbs in the first week. Jill has lost (10/200)*100 or 5% of her total weight. Thus, it's easy to compare percent lost by each person rather than just pounds lost. It's just weight lost divided by the starting weight. I hope that helps some. Good luck on getting this off the ground -let us know how it goes! I'm glad there's a group of you wanting to participate! Cheers.

Thanks Jules! So would the percentage formula work even though people have varying amounts to lose? We want to make the competition fair and some feel that the heavier you are the more you'll lose and thus have the edge to win.
