Talking Breakfast Cereals

I was wondering if any of you are able to find a comparison chart between types of cereals...I can't really find any. I am looking for sugar content, fat, calories and protein.

While searching I did come across this...
http://www.healthcastle.com/breakfas...mparison.shtml

This site lists all the good and bad cereals:http://the.honoluluadvertiser.com/ar.../il/il05a.html

What do you eat?

I eat Kashi Go Lean Crunch (it's whole grain!)

In one cup there is 230 calories
3 g fat...but it's low saturated fat and zero trans fat
40g carb...(carbs come from buckwheat, triticale, rye, hard red winter wheat, long grain brown rice, oats and barley)
5g fibre
10g protein
13g of sugar

I like it because it has excellent protein and 7 essential nutrients in it...it just tastes like granola.

Hi Missy-Sorry I don't know where to go to compare cereals.

I normally eat Shredded Mini Wheats or Honey Bunches of Oats. Probably not the best ones for me but they are my favorites. I cannot stand eating cerals that taste like horse food.

I'm glad more and more cereals are going whole grain. And some even have 'less sugar' versions. I have one son who would live on cereal if we'd let him.
I love my 'frosted mini wheats'. I also love special k-- espcially with the red berries. Cheerios are a classic, healthy choice for the whole family. I've never enjoyed those horse food ones. Or the ones that taste a little too much like sticks and twigs. I do like the dried fruit they are adding to some now. Honey Bunches of Oats, with peaches is really yummy.
I'm sure these probably aren't the best choices. They are probably as loaded with sugar as froot loops (another fave!)
I like to eat cereal as a snack. I find it more satisfying, than a lot of snacks. And probably more nutritious. Relatively low in calories, as long as I only eat 1 bowl!

I'm generally an oatmeal eater no matter what time of year it is. I usually buy store brand or Quaker variety packs. I can't even bring cold cereal in the apt I will eat bowl after bowl after bowl. It's a weakness (faves: frosted flakes, apple jacks, honey nut cheerios, I could go on and on...all the sweet ones!!!). I know, I know...so not helpful. Sorry.
