Right i really am on a roll today thinking of topics to talk about!!!

i thought of this because, over a year ago my good friend Sarah, had a terrible thing happen to her! Her husband had been having an affair with one of her friends!! she thought her life was over. I spent many evenings with her while she cried, i comforted her how any friend would!!
One night we were sat together, i asked her Where did she see her self in a years time?
She replied, doing her nursing training, back in england and in my own house, and not crying over her husband anymore!!

Well its just over a year and a half later, my friend sarah is now doing her nursing training, she has a house, it is rented but she is happy!! and she is totally over her horrid ex husband!!!

I am so proud of her!!!

WHAT A DIFFERENCE A YEAR MAKES!!!!!

in a years time,i see myself, halfway through the nursing program,a stronger independant woman,and a much happier person in general.oh yeah at least 30 pounds lighter.i understand how your friend felt,shes lucky to have a friend like you.

What a great thing - to see that your friend had accomplished what she wanted in a year's time. It takes a long time to get over such heartache...you are a great friend. I love seeing a woman who can go on with her life and make the most of it after such a thing. Way to go for her!

Where do I see myself in a year? Wow...what a question. I would like to think of myself still attending college - it will be my 3rd year - going into 4th year...my grades will be good and my GPA will be high, as it is now. I would like to see myself working within the local police department...doesn't matter what I'm doing as long as I'm working in law enforcement of some sort. I know for a fact that I will be fit and healthy in a year's time...I'm on my way now and it is only going to get BETTER! I see that my husband and I are in our own home...not renting. I also see that my husband and I are closer than ever...we are doing great now but it can only get better!

hmmm where do I see myself in a year? Hopefully engaged, applying to a higher position with the bank I work at, 60-80 pounds lighter, having some of my debt paid off.

In a year I see myself at the same job because I love it. 60 pounds lighter and healthier. I also see my self debt free with the exception of my house.

In 1 year, I should have a lot of changes. I will have finished my PhD and be Dr. Julie.

I will be in the last minute preparations for my wedding. I will be happy with my dress size and my overall appearance. I will be leaving Mississippi and most likely moving to Sydney Australia. And I will be proud of the way I handled the stress of all these changes without losing my temper much or eating bad foods.

Hi everyone! Excellent thread topic!
I used to try and avoid this topic, because it seemed like everything I wanted was just out of reach. And I was constantly getting disappointed. Well I am going to promise myself that I can have these things (or start taking steps towards them) in a year's time.

I want to start penning (or typing) my first weight loss for inspiration book.

I want to get to my goal weight and begin taking classes to become a personal trainer and weight loss counselor (motivator). To run as far as I want to; both inside and outside.

I want to feel like a beautiful princess, and confident in my new (and buff) body.

I want to be in love with, "my guy" and for him to return that love, just as strongly. (I know I cant force it to happen), but I can wish for it. I think we just need some time to get our "stuff" together before we can determine whether or not we are soulmates. I know I am thinking more clearly now than ever before.

I am impressed with what you guys have written. Go for it!!

Helena-Congratulations to your friend who survived that heartache. I totally understand what she had to go through and I know it's hard but it only made her a stronger person and she is very lucky to have you as a friend.

In a year I would like to see myself......

At my ideal weight, toned up and looking good!!

I would like to be in a loving, honest, committed relationship with my soul mate.

I would like to see my kids continue to grow into the well behaved, healthy, beautiful people they are.

I would like to find satisfaction in my current job or maybe in a new job.

Funny, my hubby and I were just talking about this last night.
April 25th of next year I would like to be 100 pounds lighter
Pregnant with our 1st child
Debt free - except the house and cars (cause we are buying 2 new cars around July/September this year)
In the beginning stages of buying a new house
Working at the same job cause I love my job - just making more money doing it
