Where Is Your Happy Place?

Hi everyone!
Just wondering about that place we all go to when we are feeling stressed etc. Do any of you have a "happy place?"

Mine is the new Watermill screensaver I just got for my computer....It is really beautiful, and all you hear are the sounds of birds chirping, and water flowing. Talk about heaven on earth. I can post a link if you are interested in checking it out. Who says you cant buy heaven for under $13!

My second happy place is me running down the Florida beach in a bikini and "my guy" chasing after me.

I love basking in the sun on a nice hot day while laying on the beach. I love the feel of the heat on my stomach and the sound of the waves.

Wow...I am trying to think of what helped me make it through this week as it was a very stressful one. Um...my happy place this week was seeing myself in California with my sister - in a haltar top. We are going to meet Rascal Flatts and when I think about it it puts a smile on my face b/c I KNOW that I am going to look good.

A really cool, dark room wrapped in a toasty blanket. I have a room in the basement that I always go to, to just get away.

Hmm -- I don't know that my 'happy place' is an actual place. But there are times, when a feeling of contentment, peace, and happiness comes over me. Ususally, I'm alone, and it's a place I find incredibly beautiful. Sometimes when I'm out on a walk-- I don't know exactly how to describe it, but it's like my eyes are opened a bit wider, and I take in the world around me a little more than usual. I have felt it skiing -- in the breath-taking snow covered mountains. I have a wonderful feeling of peace, and happiness, when I'm shushing down a mountainside. I guess it's the spiritual side in my that comes out.
Once, a long time ago, before marriage and all that, I had a boyfriend dump me. I was completely broken-hearted. I cried my heart out. And I also prayed my heart out. I didn't know what else to do. And I remember laying in bed one night, after I had prayed, and was crying again, and a feeling of warmth came over me. I could literally feel my heart warming -- like it was mending. I knew then that everything would be ok. God was with me -- He was comforting me. It's times like these, when I can feel the closest to God--- whever ever I may be -- this is my happy place.
