Dr. Phil

I always enjoy watching his shows. I try to watch them every afternoon before I go to work.

I know a lot of people who can't stand him..I was just curious if anyone else watches him?

I watched his show a lot when he had the "Weight Loss Challenge" on. Now I just watch here and there. I am a big fan of the makeover and weight loss shows.

I don't watch him. I'm kinda anti-Dr. Phil and Oprah. I'm not quite sure why. I guess I don't understand why people would go on these shows to talk about the problems that they have. Why do that? Why not just go to a competant professional? I guess I doubt their sincerety, and motivation for spilling their guts on national tv. And I'm not really sure how much being on these shows actually helps them. I think they do , or I certainly hope they have lots of follow-up for some of these people. They need more help than they can get from Dr. Phil or Oprah!
I like the more light hearted ones. I do enjoy the weight loss challenges. And I love make-overs.
It's just personal preference. If they do actually help the people on the shows, and maybe help viewers at home, I have no problem with them. I still won't watch them, but I can't think of anything better to put on in their place!

I love Dr. Phil even though I don't get to watch him very often. I'm always at work when he's on.

I find that Dr. Phil just tends to state the obvious (common-sense)...as easy as that sounds...there are still people out there who just don't get it.

I have to admit I am a huge fan of Dr Phil!

I'm also embarrassed to admit that I spent a lot of time watching his show when I was on honeymoon in the US as we don't get a lot of his shows in the UK!! My poor neglected DH on honeymoon, LOL!!

I think he is very straight-talking, does tend to state a lot of common-sense thinking but sometimes that seems to be just what his guests need to hear!
