Fast Food???

I generally steer clear of fast food places, Mcdonalds, Burger King, KFC are all well represented here in Malta (but its not so bad, there's no starbucks) but you can guaruntee that not far away from any of them are Turkish Kebab places. I'd much rather have a chicken or beef skewer (you can choose the meat you want as its on display) cooked on a barbecue and served with salad and pitta (pocket) bread.

I tried the 1 subway here but found the local sandwich shops are vastly cheaper and better quality.

There is a salad that I love to get once in awhile at Jack-In-The-Box. It's called the Southwest Chicken Salad. It's a large salad topped with black beans, grilled corn, tomatoes, red onions, shredded cheese, chicken breast...and then they give you a package of some little spicy crunchy things to add to it if you'd like, and a kinda spicy southwest dressing. I don't use a lot of the dressing on it, but some. I love this salad, and I am NOT one who is big on salads! It's about $5 including the tax, but well worth it...lots of good nutrition there and very tasty. I highly recommend it if you want a good salad that not borrrring. :-)
