Remembering 9/11

I just wanted to give my condolences to anyone who lost loved ones in the 9/11 terrorist attacks that happened 5 years ago today. So many innocent people lost their lives for no good reason. I have the deepest respect for all the firefighters, police officers, doctors, nurses, ambulance crews and soldiers who put their own lives on the line to help these people. I also wanted to say that it was a terrible thing to happen and the loved ones will never be forgotten.

I think it is great that you put this in here. I was in the middle of posting something earlier and my phone disconnected the internet. I watched a program last night on a documentary that was being made on a Rookie FireFighter out of NY. It was terribly sad - by the time the show was over I had a terrible headache (actually woke up with a headache, too), and a pile of kleenex on the floor next to me.

I agree that this thread needed to be here to honor the passing of the 3,000 people who perished long before their time. I think we all have a memory of where we were and what we were doing on that day. I know I will never forget. I too was feeling 9-11 last night. I was watching Flight 93 on DVD. Horrible tragedy...I have also seen United 93. I cant even imagine being on that plane; or any of the ones that were hijacked that day. I thank G-d everyday for my freedom and I only wish that everyone around the world were as lucky as we are.

I agree with everyone 100%, I remember where I was on that day, I also watched the program last night, and watched one last week also. I cant beleive its been 5 years, but for something to touch every one of us, and still make us cry, I dont think anyone will ever forget. To the people who lost loved one, stay strong. I am so very proud of those that fight for our country. Thank You.
