It is funny how the littlest things mean the most to us. Now if I could just get a man to massage these sore muscles.....

I got it at Wal mart. $29.96, I believe. They had a cheaper WW scale, for $5 less, but this one seemed like the extra features it had would be worth the $5.
I looked at a Health-o-meter scale, for the same price. It's supposed to measure BMI and everything. But I don't know how accurate that would be. I just know people have said the WW one, was very good, so I stuck with that. A lot of times, all those extra features on equipment, I don't bother to use anyway. More features, more things that can go wrong... etc....
I just wanted simple, accurate weight measurement.

I have the Weight Watcher's scale too. Not sure which one you have. I think they put out more than just one. Let me know what you think. At times I am skeptical about mine. One minute it will say one thing, and 2 seconds later, it weighs me in at a pound or two heavier. Guess scales arent everything. But they do give you an idea of where you stand.
Elizabeth, when you find that male masseuse send him over here when you are done!!

I hear you, and I feel your pain. It's really sad to say, but I'm probably not alone in this, but I will avoid going to the Dr. ( for illness, check-ups, anything...) because I do NOT want to be weighed. I feel like such a cow! And it's always some itty bitty, crabby looking nurse who weighs me. I know, they don't think anything of it. They weigh people all day long. But I still just hate it.
I have a little better relationship with my home scale though. I don't want to get obsessed with it. But it's such a great feeling to see those numbers go down. It's a great motivator for me.
I also just want to get into the habit of paying attention to my weight. Not paying attention is how I let it get so bad in the first place.

I agree that a scale is a scale... I guess you just find one that will work for you and consistantly weigh on it.
We actually bought a doctor's electronic scale that weighs up to 500 pounds in .5 pound increments. With the money we spent onit you think it woudl be totally accurate... but we have found depending on how you stand on it, you can manipulate it.
So find a scale that works for you and just know that no scale is a like.
