Your Favorite Trainer?
I always think it is an interesting question to ask people who watch the show. Their styles are dramatically different, but they obviously both work. My personal choice is Jillian. I would hate her while I was crying on the treadmill, but I need that drill sargeant kind of instructor. I have noticed that even though she is very hard on all the contestants, they all have a connection to her and miss her when she is not around. Bob is good too, but sometimes he seems too soft. Just my opinion. What do you guys think?

Fav. Trainer
Not that I don't love Bob, because I do but I would love a chance to have Jillian train me. She is no nonsense, no excuses trainer....take no prisoners, take no...crap so to speak. I know I would be cussing under my breath all the while but I can't help but to imagine the impressive results. She is big hearted as well but I think it takes longer to see then it does with Bob. Two different personal styles, but bottom line is both are effective. Keep smilin'. Cheryl

Actually I do think they are both great!
I love Bob and I guess I should have said he was my favorite trainer. But who would I like to be trained by? I would have to say Jillian. I know Bob does push his people but I think I am to the point that I need someone that is going to push me to the point of tears.

They are the same
They are the same in the way people loose weight,Jillien is more hard on them than Bob is but Bob gets them to loose just as much weight. That is my thought on that topic.

I voted either. Even though Jillians teams havd won a ton more than Bobs I think they both do a outstanding job.
Their styles are a bit different and (just a guess) for the season episodes they are paired up to what trainer style better suits them. Since everyone cant handle a Jillian and some people need someone like her.

If memory serves, Jillian was once overweight herself, and i get the impression that Bob never had that problem. I would be better off being pushed by Jillian rather than encouraged by Bob... however, I know a lot of people that have gone to trainers that push like Jillian, and all too often those people give up and say "why am I paying the trainer to belittle me...". I think it's a matter of preference, and I wouldn't turn down free training from either of them, but giving the choice, I would want Jillian.

How about neither?
Although I think both trainers do a supurb job with their clients, I could never picture myself being trained by either one of them. I can't stand the foul mouth she has, and he just doesn't seem like the kind of person I would click with. For the most part they both appear to get the job done. I guess if I were forced to choose, I'd choose him only because I haven't noticed curse words coming out of his mouth.
That's just the type of person I am. Curse words don't make one a better person. I think it takes a stronger person to control their language.

Bob or Jillian
I think either would be wonderful. On one hand you have Bob....motivator....builds you up....encourager...makes you feel good about who you are and who you can become....On the other hand you have Jillian...no nonsense, pusher....makes you mad enough to do what she wants and in turn gives you what you want....either would be awesome to have!!!

I love them both, but I'd pick Bob, because I hate to cry, an Jillian would have me crying daily! Yes, she'd get results, but I'm sticking with Bob. I know myself too well.

See...now-I would need Bob's sensitivity, because I think Jillian would not only make me cry big time, but it would be discouraging to be yelled at. I know she seems to perform miracles, and it amazes me, but I think maybe there's more to Jillian than we get to see in the clipped segments..
