What Have You Done Today To Make You Feel Proud?

WHOO HOOOO ... Ok by now anyone that has read my posts can realize that I am a huge fan of the Leslie Sansone In Home Walking Videos....well...I have been working out doing the tapes since Jan. 2nd, started out on the 1 mile tape, and made it to the 2 mile tape with lil to know dieing...lol.. well yesterday I was feeling powerful within my being.. so I thought let's go for it.. let's conquer my fear of the 3 mile tape. I DID IT!!!! I made it thru the whole 45 min crazy tape.. had to use my asthma inhaler one time about half way thru(one puff) and the rest I just trucked on thru. I was so elated that I did the whole thing that I was in tears by the end of it and not tears of pain, just so proud of myself!! It was the first time that I have ever cried cause of something good I did JUST FOR ME! I just wanted to share this with everyone.

Coming from a 300+ pound women with asthma!!! IF I can do it anyone can!!

P.S. I would love if we could have a thread labeled just that.. WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TODAY TO MAKE YOU FEEL PROUD... Just somewhere to just post the best thing about your day... so that we really focus on the good!! In my Walking book I have to wrote at least one Beautiful thing each day... no matter how huge or small!! It really helps!

Congratulations!!!!! - That is great the feeling of accomplishment, I'm very happy for you. Look at the progress you made in 1 month!!! Just think were you'll by in another month!!!!!

Thank you...I really feel welcome here and think it is great to just be able to come on here and say anything. and also something about putting your accomplishments in writing really makes them hit home.

My good thing for the day is, I am kicking diet soda to the curb. Keep up with the walking tapes. You will be surprised how fast you can build endurance!

Great job Damzel! Today I convinced two other teachers on my grade level to join a walking team with me. Our school district organized it and a big athletic company here is sponsoring it. They are going to train us one day a week for an hour to prepare for an event that is going to involve a 5k and a 10k. We also get a free pair of running shoes for joining the team-alright! I am really looking foward to it, because we are going to train in downtown Austin walking along the trail by the Travis River. It is so beautiful down there. I am so excited, we start Feb 20th.
