Thumbs up funny thing!

As I was driving down the road on my way home this evening, I couldn't help it as I approached Tim Hortons. All I could do was hear a long john calling my name 'weaverdelooh, weaverdelooh...' I decided what the heck, I'll get one I just can't pass it up. So I stepped on the brakes, and flipped the turn signal on and was headed in. That was UNTIL I saw the entrance to the parking lot!!!!! There were sooooo many pot holes in it I would have been jarred all over the place going in. So I flipped off the turn signal and stepped on the gas. You should have heard the kids.... "aaawwwww"... then the oldest one pipes out "oh, you're going around the back way" (as if I needed to be reminded there was another entrance). It was SOOOOO tempting, but I said "nope" and kept on driving!!!!! Then my daughter pipes out "Stupid Tim Hortons, fix your driveway and you'll get more customers!!!!!" Thank you Tim Hortons!!!!!!!

Now that is will power! I dont know if I could have stared down a box of chocolate bars without running out of the room crying. Did you hear they have Cherry filled Hershey Kisses? So glad they are Special Edition and I cant get my hands on them! That is a trainwreak waiting to happen. Keep up the great work.

Hi Patti,

I got my tapes last year in the movie department. it was a box set of 1 2 3 mile tapes and it came with the stretchy band they use. So try the movie department... or you can get them all on her web site too plus a whole bunch more of them. Keep up the good work!! WHOO HOO's for you!!

A Great Big Whooo Hooo To All Of You!!!

HI everyone.. I am glad to see all of you using this thread to post all the great things in your day...

I had one of those crazy days today where 2 'o' clock (my usual work out time) came and went with out me... Hubby on the way home from work kiddo on the way home from school and no work out for me yet... so I called hubby and said I am going to do some kind of work out... So I managed my 1 mile tape...(15 mins) but I pumped it up faster then they do on tape and added my hand weights so I got a lil extra from it...It wasn't my usual workout but I got something in for the day.

We were invited to go to a friends for dinner and they made a Stouffer's Lasagna(EEK CALORIES AND GREASE AND FAT) so I brought along my low fat dressing and lettuce and stuff and made a big salad first while they ate the lasagna.. then I ate a half a piece of it and was full...(thank goodness for salad) I ate 2 pieces of garlic bread though(yummy) But let me tell you when you have been eating healthy low fat fresh foods and you put that crap into your system your body revolts... I have been in pain all night now... That'll Learn me...lol

But tomorrow is another day and I am going power shopping all day with my mom... going to buy me some cool new work out clothes!!!

Everyone keep up the good work and live in your power!!!

The past couple of days I have upped my calories and decreased how much I worked out. I have been a blowin' and a goin' and finally my body told me that something needed to change. I am now trying to get 1200-1300 calories a day, and will do more working out on the treadmill and only hit the gym about 3 days a week. I have also been getting my 8 hrs of sleep and eating dinner at a reasonable hour so I feel pretty proud about that.

Today I went to try on clothes and fit into a size 14! This was probably the first time I have ever had a good time shopping. I was looking for a blazer and asked the saleslady about black blazers and she wasn't looking at me. She asked me "what size?" and then turned around, looked at me and said "Oh, you're tiny!" AWESOME!! That made my day.
