I made a special trip to the store for my water!!!! 32 oz down!!!! Normally, that would have been 32 oz of pop!!! I also ate my salad for lunch and saved the other 1/2 for supper. There probably wasn't more than 400 calories in it, and with the oats this morning @ 280 calories. Not a whole lot of caloric intake, but I'm not hungry either.

susieokla will become famous soon enough
This morning I stopped by Wal-mart and picked up oranges, apples, bananas, fat free english muffins, fat free strawberry preserves, and some other healthy goodies for me and the other two ladies that work in my office.

I think they were shocked. LOL...So, hopefully I will help them change their bad eating habits & lose weight as well!

Thumbs up Whoo Hooo!!

I did my 2 mile workout today, with handweights for whole thing, and then I ran in place a fast I could for a full min. ( I cant remember the last time I ran without feeling like I my lungs and body was going to collapse)But I was feeling powerful so I went for it!!! One more good thing is I fixed my printer today that I thought was completely shot!!(hey, they say using your brain burns calories so I wonder how many that took!)

I was so elated that I did the whole thing that I was in tears by the end of it and not tears of pain, just so proud of myself!! Damzel...you made me cry. Thank you for sharing your inspirational story with us. I just started with Leslie Sansone - Walk Away the Pounds (Walk & Kick)...where did you get the other videos of her? if @ Wal-Mart then what department? The sports department didn't have any but this and a pilates video..should I be looking elsewhere?

You have really inspired me today! THANKS!

I am really looking foward to it, because we are going to train in downtown Austin walking along the trail by the Travis River. It is so beautiful down there. I am so excited, we start Feb 20th.
That sounds great Elizabeth! I have just told my sister that my goal is that when I turn 30 years old in a 1 1/2 years that I will be 145lbs and walk in a marathon. I have never been near a marathon and would love to do it. Best wishes to you!

I've had my water again today. I passed up corn dogs, and nachos and cheese for lunch. Unfortunately the cook made too many corn dogs and offered to send them home with me. I accepted thinking the kids would eat them. Well.... I was unprepared for supper, and I ate corn dogs this evening. It's ok though, because i had 90 calories for breakfast, and had a slice of cheese, 3 oz of turkey, and cauliflower with light dressing for lunch. Oh, and a boiled egg. So I haven't had a lot of calories today. I'm still drinking strictly the flavored water, so there's no caloric intake on my drinks.

Talking No soda again

Still hanging in there without the diet pepsi or diet cherry vanilla coke. I guess there is life after caffeine! Another day of diet down, another day closer to my weight loss goals. Congrats to everyone who said no to all the tempting things that were given to them. Is it just me, or do people have diet radar? They sense you are on a diet and then feel the need to try and offer you unhealthy things?? I know they mean well, but too much "yes" got me here in the first place.

I know what you mean! I went into the teacher's lounge, and sure enough there was a big ole box of chocolate bars for sale 50 of them!!!!! So instead of sitting there repeatedly reading the candy bar box I took the flyer I was looking at and set it on top. Out of site, out of mind!
