Arrow Help Me!!!!!

Didn't mean to startle you by yelling in my title..but I need some help.

I am getting really (and I mean REALLY) sick of my food. I just find most of it bland and boring and hate eating the same thing all the time. I was wondering if any of you had some really healthy meal ideas you could give me?

I want to eat broccoli and green beans etc...but I would like to know a good way to make them so they taste better!

How do you season your chicken when you make it? I always do mine the same and it's getting boring.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I feel your pain, Missy!

I like to throw some chicken breasts into a Ziplock bag with a marinade in the morning and then broil them or cook them on my George Foreman grill for dinner. I will try anything. Here are some things I've used:

Lemon juice with Splenda and pepper.

Chopped garlic, ground ginger and lite soy sauce

Teriyaki sauce (most of the storebought ones have a lot of sugar--you can make your own with soy sauce, white wine and Splenda)

Salsa

Chopped tomatoes and Italian seasonings (oregano, basil, garlic, etc.)

Curry powder mixed into a little plain yogurt with a dash of vinegar

Mustard, Splenda, and white wine or vinegar

Raspberry vinegar and some fresh herbs (my personal favorite)

Also, a lot of these same marinade treatments will work with fish.

Another idea is to make something yummy to put on top of your chicken or fish, like a fresh mango salsa.

Good luck!

Sue

I forgot about the vegetables. My family is crazy for roasted vegetables. You can use anything you want...broccoli, asparagus, peppers, brussels sprouts, sweet potatoes, whatever you have. Chop them up and put them in a Ziplock bag with a little olive oil and something to flavor them...onion powder, garlic, rosemary, whatever you want. Let them sit in the spices for maybe 15 minutes. Then bake them in the oven, stirring once or twice, until you can put a fork through the veggies. Awesome!

If you are using several different vegetables at once, you might want to start baking the ones that take longer (usually root vegetables like carrots and potatoes) first, then add the green vegetables later.
