You're The One That I Want
Who's gonna watch this show? I definately am. I LOVE Grease. I have seen it a million times and of course I need to be a part of choosing the people for the Broadway show. I am all about it.

I love grease and I am watching it right now. I loved the last Danny hopeful that sang... he was fun!
Tom said "oh no ANOTHER reality show??!!" LOL... I love that this one is more than just singing

I liked the last Danny Z too. The 40 yr old guy wasnt half bad either. Felt horrible for the guy whose brother had passed. The 2nd woman who sang...was she for real??

OMG she was so funny!! I feel bad for people like her... probably has had family and friends all her life tell her what a grfeat singer she is - probably even sings in church. We have a guy like that at church... he is sooooo bad. But no one tells him he's bad so he keeps signing up to dp special music LOL He just loves to sing.

Wasnt really impressed with the Chicago contestants. The schoolteacher who came in for his students was HOT. But couldnt sing. I am sure like Idol they have people who just want to get on tv. Look what it did for William Hung? Supposedly he has outsold Taylor Hicks!

That's sad about William Hung outselling Taylor. People are just laughing at William and he is laughing all the way to the bank. I liked the show too. I didn't like the part when Billy Bush asked the judges to give that woman another chance. They looked at him like he was stupid which they should have. He needs to stick to his job...hosting!! I was suprised that didn't have any acting audition too. What if they can't act? There is talking in Grease not only singing.

Well, I only saw bits of this show. I'm determined to NOT get sucked up into any more reality shows. But this, like AI, seems to take a lot of enjoyment out of the people who are the least talented. It's probably also like AI, in that the contestants are screened before they ever make it in front of the judges. So to me, that makes these type of shows lose credibility. If you're seriously looking for talent, then they should skip putting on all the most humiliating, silly, and just plain horrible contestants, and let the ones who actually have a bit of talent have a shot. I know many people enjoy watching the 'bad' talent, but sometimes I think it's just cruel to put them on.
Don't you guys who are watching think you might be kind of sick of all the 'grease' songs by the time it's done? I know they don't have to sing them at least at this point, but still -- I only watched a little bit, and heard "Hopelessly Devoted' more than once!
