Exclamation Exericise Equipment Letdown

HI everyone
OK here is a little problem that I have found out there looking for equipment/machines. A lot of them have a weight restriction on them that well... let's just say I would love to work out on some of them but I can't according to there restrictions. I don't have a thousands of dollars to spend on a machine that doesn't have low weight restrictions. Has anyone run into this problem. Also what is every-ones feelings on Gazelles??

Last week I went looking at machines and got on a gazelle, I would imagine once you get the hang of it then it would be smooth sailing. I felt very akward on the thing. I was also looking at elipticals, bikes and treadmills. I ended up getting an Exertec Manual Treadmill for just $99. It works great and I am big girl myself, so you might want to look in to that.

I know your frustration with the weight restriction. My highest weight was 315 and I wanted a simple weight bench and the weight limit on the one I wanted was like 250 pounds... so, for me, I decided to find whatever different ways I could to lose weight (walking, aerobics, eight training with free weights - and when I get down to 250 pounds - if I still want the bench - I will buy it then.
Good luck to you on your journey
