Part of the decrease is the normal wave of running a forum. People get busy with their lives and just show up from time to time. I also think Myspace has gotten alot of people to jump off the forum bandwagon and onto myspace. I run a forum (rock n roll based) and have seen the fluctuation happen like this yearly.

Perhaps if we had a section with some sort of game idea, kind of an ice breaker and gets everyone the opportunity to get to know each other more.

Jenny Craig commercial--- ugh --
It just make me sick. Two perky gals trying to encourage us all to find the lean healthy body within. They were giving such helpful hints as to vacuum or garden and burn 30-something calories! Or to walk your kids all the way to school....
I don't know-- maybe I'm overly sensitive, but come on girls! They are talking to us like anyone who is over weight is completely sedentary.
Now, I realize that this is where some people start. But I've learned from this board and others that some very active and physically fit people are still over weight. And we all know that super thin person who would drive across the street, rather than walk... so I think these ladies were being very simplistic and I thought insulting to most people.
I ask you - who doesn't vacuum, or have to clean their own house? Who doesn't have to walk a little bit to get to work, or climb up and down stairs?
We are not just sitting on our asses eating chocolate and watching tv, and to me, commercials like that just reinforce that stereotype. Like, if that poor fat girl would just get up and do something, then she wouldn't be so fat!
Grrrrr-- I'm just so sick of seeing all these 'easy answers' which are nothing helpful at all, except for someone's bank account.
We all know it's not easy, it's not simple, and to have some perky barbie telling me to just vacuum and all my problems will be over is insulting to my intelligence, and to my lifestyle.
I know that isn't really what they mean, but it almost sounded that way. I guess I would have to buy all their food too!

I have a list of things that make me want to explode....

People who "teach" their children that it is ok to shriek in public at a young age. It isnt cute; it's disturbing, dangerous, and it gives me a freakin headache. NOT WHILE I AM DRIVING!!!!

People who walk their dogs on a hot day and dont bring them any water. I find it very disturbing to see these poor dogs walking along with their tongues hanging out of their mouths and panting like crazy. Dogs get thirsty too folks!

People who add you to their friends list on MySpace and then never respond; or write once and never respond. If you werent going to respond; then why consider me a friend? This has happened a few times and I know it wasnt me who said/did anything wrong. Dont claim you are happy to hear from me.

Pollen...I just washed my car and now it is covered with the stuff.

Dust bunnies...the world would be a much happier place without them.

Getting really into a show and suddenly it is dropped by the network or switched to a channel I dont have.

Getting into a slump and trying to dig my ass out of it for the zillionth time.

Being alone on my birthday.

Time to revive the thread again!

I can't stand being taken advantage of or lied to. If you can't keep a promise, then don't MAKE ONE IN THE FIRST PLACE!!

Missing my best friend who I wish could play a bigger role in my life but can't right now.

Making big changes and seeing nothing happening. Just taking more steps backwards.
