I love Stacy and Clinton! But who are they kidding with all the super highheals, and pointy toed shoes? I understand what they're saying, about elongating your legs and all, but do we have to wear witch shoes to do it? EEEK!
Some of the shoes they suggest and approve of are very cute, and I really dont' mind wearing a heal, but I just can't believe some of those shoes are actually comfortable! Plus when you're a little big bigger than a pencil, you need a more solid foundation than a spikey heal!

A few weeks ago i was at work having a conversation about weight loss, i happened to say how much weight i wanted to lose to hit my next target. Well my boss just said " you'll never do it, you can't do it" i got really mad and thought i'll show him!! Anyway he has been off work until this week. And i have lost weight! He said to me yesterday " Are you ok, have you gained weight?" I don't know if he said it because he was embarassed about what he said or he was just being nasty!! Anyway i HAVE lost!! Horrible man!

What a friggen pig. I am censoring myself majorly here.
Find another job. You shouldnt have to deal with that kind of verbal abuse. He had no right to say that to you. BUT: I have also had people insult me too. Instead of using it as a reason to get down on yourself and chuck your lifestyle change out the window; use the remarks as fuel to your fire. Prove him wrong and BURN HIS ASS! Never let them know how much they have hurt you.

Thanks guys He's just horrible i guess. As he knows i'm trying to lose weight you'd think he'd just shut up! He also does this thing where if he sees me eating something (HE) thinks is bad he says " should you be eating that?" (well yes i should it's included in my calories for that day) and at other times he offers me junk food. Chips, cookies, doughnuts, you get the idea. It's almoust like he doesn't want me to succed! Why are people like that?
Anyway i'm doing what you said - I WILL PROVE HIM WRONG!

Your sorry excuse for a boss is what is known as a saboteur. For some reason; it makes him feel superior to you if he can belittle you and tear you down. He gets his jollies that way. Is there somebody above him that you can report his behavoir to? Start jotting down incidents and send it to corporate. He needs to be spoken to (at the very least). He is contributing to a hostile work environment. I'm not kidding. Find a superior manager to him and make them aware of the problem. Loose canons like that open up companies to lawsuits and grievance claims. You have every right to be upset. It is humiliating discrimmination and harassment. You dont have to live like that!!

Just need to vent about dumb stuff... Not even health related except how it might change my eating habits for today.
Grrr, why aren't people grateful when things are given to them? Especially men (no offense to anyone here). My dad is one of the pickiest people -he's got to have his milk and his cereal and his muffins and his brand of everything. He's so picky about things all he pretty much gets for Christmas these days is chocolate covered cherries (his brand, which are cheap but near impossible to find) and his brand of socks. Give him anything else and mom will end up taking it back.
That's fine -that's how he is and I don't have to deal with it -but my fiance is getting like him! Stupid little thing set me off tody -grocery shopping I tried to buy him his favorite gum, which had reccently changed wrappings. He never said thank you, took one look at it said that's not what I like, tasted a piece and directly spit it out telling me it tasted like medicine and never buy that again. I don't want to buy him anything! He's so ungrateful, picky, and just plain lacking manners when it comes to gifts. It was just a dumb pack of gum, be he is so picky about everything? Why is it so many guys are so picky and girls are way more flexible? And girls spend so much time trying to get the exact brand/item that makes them happy and they don't even appreciate it?
V may be getting a lump of coal for Christmas, but definately no chewing gum!
Silly, silly rant but I had to get it outta me before I devour everything around me.

Thank you Jules for making my point....
THAT is why I began this thread line. Vent our frustrations through fingers; not our mouths.
