I am so glad that you guys are finding this thread helpful. One of these days I will spill my gutts here as well. Right now I feel like I am doing enough kvetching in my journal.

I have no clue why discrimmination against people of size is considered ok? It falls under the "umbrella" of things that are unlawful to be discrimminated against. My guess is that people discrimminate against what they fear. Shoving somebody else down into the pavement doesnt make you look better; just insecure and stupid.

I hope that everyone continues to use this thread to vent and for inspiration as well. My only rule is that when you tell us what happened; you tell us how you have reacted to it, and that you end it on a positive note. If people can see how you survived the "bullying" it can help them deal with their own struggles and horror stories.

Carrie, I think the answer to this is it is so visible. Most people like to hide their faults. You usually can't tell by looking who is an alcoholic, who has STDs, who can't read, who does drugs. But us? It's just out there -a fault that by its very nature is visible to all. And people are mean, they pick on weaknesses to make themselves look stronger. It's sad, and wrong, and accepted because we feel bad about it and we let them among other things. I wish everyone else had to wear their weaknesses around on display, there would be a lot less picking on large people. But really, I just wish people were nicer. I don't think it will matter how thin I get, some people are still going to be rotten to me.

I have to agree with some of that. But in general; people's treatment of others sucks. I see things everyday that would make people who arent in my profession cringe. Doesnt mean that these people should be treated like dirt; unless they treat me like dirt first. Even then, I use disgression.

But it isnt us with the problem; it's them.

I am seriously pissed off right now. How did Adrian manage to have the highest numbers this week? She makes me sick. She should have been booted. She makes Heather and Kai look like angels. Sickening...

Marty looks HOT! I could've sworn he was married though. No doubt he will have girls swarming all over him now. He could be a fitness model now; or even a personal trainer or anthing he wants. He is as ripped as Bob is. What a shame we had to lose Marty and keep Adrian. I feel badly for Wylie too...I thought for sure he would get booted for his behavior post weigh in. This show is really starting to irk me...This is obviously Marty before...the afters arent posted yet. BIO &

I'm with Carrie on this one. I was seriously sitting there being peeved off and I was getting madder by the minute at her attitude. She cops out on everything that the ranch has set up for the contestants. She has something to say about everything...blah blah it's not fair..she needs to get over herself. When she said that all she wanted to do was go home, that is where they should have sent the little brat.

If she thinks she knows everything there is to know about losing weight, she should just go home and do it herself then. She is not willing to learn anything new and gives up on everything the ranch has to offer.

This isnt the show's first season. She knew what she was getting into. I hope she never becomes a personal trainer. And her toothy grin is scary and I dont want to look at it anymore.

Yup, Adrian is so bad, I'm actually beginning to like Kai by contrast. Geesh! Sue
