I bought a pair of size 12 jeans at a yard sale. They only cost a quarter. LOL
That's my goal now is to get into them, I know it'll take a while but when I do I'm going to be so proud!!

I like what Jillian told the woman from the red team tonight. She wanted to lose weight to get into her dream wedding dress. She didn't want to even try it on until around the finale. But when Jillian visited them at home she asked her to try it on. She told the woman that it probably won't fit, but this will give you an idea of how far you have come and how much more work you have to do. The dress totally fit, and by the finale the woman had lost an additional 20 lbs. or so and her dream dress was way too bit and she had to go get a new one.

I have a lot of work to do, but it's nice to have measured success other than the scale. I can't wait to get them on!
I've found that the scale only measures 1 component of my body, total weight. Clothes, jewelry, etc help measure another component, the inches lost.

Very good point. I use to manage a Curves For Women (which is an excellent work out place for all women) and we weighed and measured every month and alot of times people didn't see a big change in weight but would lose 8" if we only did weights they would have been discouraged. I always told my clients and try to live by this people don't see what your scale says but they do see the inches gone and that is what really matters.

I am going to go try on some clothes today, I am hoping to fit into a size 14! The clothes I have been wearing lately are baggy and making me feel frumpy. I will let you know if I come home with anything good.

Great idea
I fully agree with a Non-Food Based Rewards Program. When I hit 155 (164/163 now) I want to get my hair flat ironed. So, it will only last as long as my next hair washing, but those few moments of feeling completely sexy are well worth the "sacrifice." I guess it is just a taste of what life will feel like at 120. Go for it girls!!

Well I went and tried on clothes and I did it-I am now a size 14! Woohoo! I was so excited that everything fit, I ended up spending $300 on new clothes, lol! This inspires me to go through my closet now and get rid of all my fat clothes for good. I am going to bag them up and save them for a garage sale, there are so many, maybe I will be able to recoup the money I spent on my new clothes. It has been a long long time since I have seen size 14.

Way to go!!!! What a great feeling to get rid of your FAT clothes. I would concider taking them to a second hand store or donating them to the salvation army to just get them gone that way you don't have a place to go back to. Congrats on your accomplishment!!!!

Thanks! I was having a great time clearing out my closet last night. Throwing clothes one way and hangers another. I got a little goofy and started saying "No more wire hangers!" lol It was very cathartic. I am giving some of my bigger clothes to a friend of mine, then having a garage sale. Anything that is left over I am donating to a woman's shelter. I have filled 5 trash bags full of clothes!
