Yes that is a reward and maybe a special date with your husband so you can wear it.

You are so right Elizabeth...no matter who wins the reward - you all have won! The best reward is your health and weight loss!

I am the same way widdlecuddles. I haven't been able to wear my wedding ring since I got pregnant with my last child...she is 2 1/2 years old now. My husband has talked about getting it resized and I told him "No...I just have to lose weight." I can't wait to wear it again!

One of my goals is to be able to wear regular necklaces. I would love to go into a jewelry store and get a cute little necklace without having to ask how many inches long it is. Whenever I try to wear them, I feel like they are choking me all day long, it is just not comfortable.

rewards work very well for me.
I base them on many goals.
Since I travel for work, one of my rewards is my per diem money. If I shop at a grocery store and stay out of the fast food chains and fatening restaurants, I save money. So, if after a week of traveling I've been good, I use the extra money on something fun. A massage, a round of golf, a new shirt, or I can save the money for the next time I get a reward and make it even bigger.
As for weight loss, after i weigh in every saturday morning, I reward myself when I lose by putting on pants, shorts or other clothes that I bought in my slimmer days, and see my progress as more than a number on a scale. I even bought a pair of size 36 jeans, and I try to get in them even though I can't, seeing how much closer I'm getting is a great reward!
I absolutely never reward myself with food, after the weigh in and trying on clothes, it's off to the gym for a workout, and to the kitchen for a healthy meal.

I tried on the bracelet last night. I could get it on, but it ws pretty tight. And then my husband and I couldn't get it off. I was so afraid I was going to break it. But I didn't. I don't think I will be able to wear it my our anniversary... but hopefully soon!

I think that trying on clothes that you want to fit in can be a double edge sword. I always tell myself just before I try to put them on to focus on how much closer I've gotten, not how much further I have to go. Every week, they go slightly higher up toward my hips. I have a lot of work to do, but it's nice to have measured success other than the scale. I can't wait to get them on!
I've found that the scale only measures 1 component of my body, total weight. Clothes, jewelry, etc help measure another component, the inches lost.
