Question Anyone tried Special K Drop a jean size?

I have been doing a lot of reading up on it and it seems to have worked for about 98% of people who tried it. I think the other 2% didnt stick to it enough.
I love cereal so eating it twice a day wouldnt be any trouble for me.
I was just wondering if anyone has tried it and what results you got from it.
Also what do people think of it in general?
Its only for 2 weeks and is to kick start your weight loss, it isnt to do like forever ( like counting points on weight watchers can be)

thanks

spag.

Hi!

I LOVE Special K. I bring it to work as a snack, put it on top of yogurt or salad if I want an extra crunch. Better than chips. I have not tried it for 2 weeks like they say to, but it would be an interesting thing to do to see if it works. I should since my weight is back up again because I have been careless lately (my own fault). I just bought a box of the Special K Protein and I am interested to see if the added protein helps. 98% is a very good result.

Best of luck with it!!

It sounds like a great idea for a 'quick fix' as long as it isn't a long term plan as cereals like special k are quite well fortified with vitamins and minerals. I don't know whether I could stick with it though - I know its only 2 weeks but I think I'd be bored with cereal twice a day by the middle of the first week!!

Hope you get the results you are hoping for on it.

I like the Vanilla Almond kind the best....

Although I try not to eat cereals...I just looked at the nutrician data site for kellog's cereal and for one cup...the carbs make up 72% of the cereal...ACK!

I did try the Special K for 2 weeks. I think I lost 6 or 7 lbs on it. Only thing for me is I did get tired of it. It's definately not a long term fix but would be good to jump start things and get you started.

Good luck!!

I have done it...

I have done this...this is how I kick started my weight loss. Although it isn't a way to go about losing weight. I am a cereal lover and absolutely love the taste of Special K. I lost 6 lbs in 2 weeks. I am no longer doing this b/c I like to eat salads for my lunch now - I just watch my calorie intake each day. I did not drop a pant size - 6 lbs isn't going to be a pant size for me. lol I did not only do this with Special K - I started drinking lots of water and exercising each day...I think this is why I lost the weight b/c I am still losing. If you decide to do this - best wishes.

Just remember - it's not a quick fix that is going to make you lose the weight - it is a lifestyle change. I know that changing my lifestyle has helped me tremendously...I feel so much better.

Wow that's great that it actually does fill you up til lunch!! I don't find it does at all!! I need to have quite a large breakfast to keep me going though - porridge, fruit and a yoghurt, LOL!! I'm always really hungry in the morning!!

I'm not a cereal person at all so this wouldn't work for me, but the lady who sits next to me at work has been doing it since Monday. I think she is already tired of it
Good luck to you if you decide to try it.
