Talking Bmi

I checked what my BMI was when I started my weight loss journey on Feb 1, 2006 - it was 39.5. At this time my BMI is down to 36.8....this is awesome!

How is everybody else doing? Have you recently checked your BMI?

Great job Patty!!!

When I started off my BMI was 33. According to my weigh in 2 weeks ago my BMI was 27.8. I weigh in again tomorrow morning at work. I'll let you know if it's any lower.

Well, my BMI dropped a little after this mornings weigh in....it's now 27.4.

2.5 more points to go until I'm "normal" under the BMI scale.

I just used a standard bmi calculator. Is this what you guys do, or do you have different ways to evaluate and measure, that are more accurate?
My bmi is 31.9
I need to lose a good 50 lbs to be in the normal range.

At the gym the health manager measures mine by some kind of electric current thing.

I'm sure that's a much more accurate way to measure it. The other way, just needs your height and weight. There's no way it can measure muscle. But, it's a reference point at least!

Awesome - glad to hear that you all have gone down in numbers, as well. The only way I measure it is through the calculator - weight and height.
