Inspiration
I really thought about where to start this thread and thought this might be the best place. When I am struggling, as I am now, it is always helpful to think of something, someone, a saying, a story that inspires me to keep going on this weight loss journey. What's your inspiration?

Theme Song
I find such inspiration form the theme song to Biggest Loser, I downloaded it and I made a workout tape with it on it like 3 times in between other songs. that way when I am working out.. just about the time I want to quit it plays again and gives me the boost...

my kids continue to inspire me every day. I'm too stinking tired to ever do anything. If I can get my energy level back up, hopefully I'll feel like doing stuff with them again.

I want to be able to play with my kids without getting out of breath. We are going to Disney world in the summer and I want to have fun!

My inspiration is I am in a wedding in April and I am determined my Mom is going to have to alter my dress and make it SMALLER!!! When I got it a month ago it fit perfect. I should go try it on and see if there is a difference.

Something that really motivates me, is imagining lugging around 50 lbs of potatoes, or 50 lbs of anything really. I remind myself that that is exactly what I'm doing, being so overweight. Then asking myself, why I do this, day in and day out. Why carry all that extra weight? And I imagine how much better I'll feel with it off.

My daughter is my motivation, she is so involved in sports and I want to be around to see her excel in them. Also want to be a role model for her to eat healthy.

Hi All
Am finding it hard to motivate myself- I have all the books, am on Weight Watchers, tried other diet changes but the fact is- I just don't want to exercise. Why is this? I obsess about wanting to change, so it can't be that I don't want to! Life is so busy, and I find that I go to work, come home, eat, watch tv and want to go to bed- when do I exercise?
sob, sob- having a sad and demotivating day... any words of advice out there?
thanks- nkohli
p.s- anyone also know how to START a new thread?
