Some Great Articles in Today's Seattle Times

There's a Food & Wine section in the Seattle Times every week, and today's paper had some articles that I really found helpful.

One was an Associated Press article by J.M. Hirsch about the importance of making small, simple changes in order to lose weight, rather than making drastic changes that you can't keep doing.

The other was a column by "Diet Detective" Charles Stuart Platkin. He was recommending some "Calorie Bargains for the New Year."

One was the Cabot Cheese light cheddar that is mentioned in many of the BL Cookbook recipes. I went to their Website (www.cabotcheese.com), and you can put in your zip code and find out what stores sell this cheese in your area. I was really glad to see that it is available at Trader Joe's, where my husband just started working! The Jenni-O Turkey Savory-Seasoned Turkey Burgers were also recommended, among other things.

I think you can look at these articles online if you go to www.SeattleTimes.com

I love the Jennie-o seasoned turkey burgers. Who needs cheese or ketchup? They already come "kicked up a notch!"
