lol Patty Ann! I think the picture will be very motivating. What I find motivating is to stick a current picture of myself next to an old picture (where I looked much thinner) on the fridge, that way I can't get into the fridge without a little "face to face" with myself!

My husband and I have pictures of our current selves (at our highest weight) on the fridge too. It makes me think, but sometimes it doesn't keep me out of the fridge

Do 1 a month with your camera, and then get one done next year professionally. YOu'll have 11 pictures of progress that you can put in your own personal album, and use as a motivation for not falling back into that lifestyle! The profressional one next year will be the best picture you've every been in!

My new motivator is a Valentine's card I got from my 10 year old daughter. It says "You are looking good." It made me feel really good - she gave it to me after I told her about my weight loss. When I told her about me losing 3 lbs her mouth just dropped to the floor - she was so happy for me. I put this valentine's card on my fridge to remind me why I am losing weight.

thats a great idea and motivational technique which would help with will power. its like giving up smoking and put garlic on them if u want to try one.

I'd like to reward myself with a membership to a gym, but if I lose all the weight before, what will be the point in the gym membersip? If I can figure out how to do it w/o the gym, there's no reason I can't continue w/o it.
