I'm on WeightWatchers and have been since December last year. It really is a very good plan with a strong emphasis on balanced healthy eating, small habit changes and exercise. It is very against cutting out any food groups and doesn't deny you any foods - its very easy to fit in to your life. As someone else said as well, a lot of food retailers use WW points system to classify their foods which makes it even easier and WW have got a huge selection of their own branded foods.

Sounds like a great idea! I'd definitely be in for that.

We could also swap WeightWatchers hints and tips

I am also doing WW in Australia... it's up and down b'c I haven't been very dedicated but I went for my weigh in y'day and lost 1.4kgs in a week! That's 3.1 pounds according to a quick google calculation. But the funny thing is- I have no idea how I managed to lost that! I haven't been getting much exercise but I have been trying to watch my food portions... plus I have taken on another job so currently am working 7 days a week!

So- for anyone trying to lose weight- get another job! Kidding

Just wanted to share my good news with you all!

cheers

nkohli congrats on your weight loss. I am sure watching what you eat and all the work you been doing is why. Keep it up and maybe if we all have to weigh in here it will help you too.

Talking

I have been doing weight watchers since April 2005. Currently I have lost 65 lbs. Weight Watchers has been a great tool for me. I have stayed motivated and love the control I have over what I can eat and still maintain my weight lose. I am at a tough point right now, because I am at my plateau. However, the veteran members have given me some great suggestions and I am seeing where that takes me. I only have 16 lbs to go! Yepp!!
