Do you think Edwin and Rasha should have won?
There has been alot of talk about the couples edition. From what I have been reading is there are quite a bit of people that think Edwin and Rasha should have won. Just curious what you think.

I definetley think Edwin and Rasha should have won! Did you see how great they looked? I think the difference in weights of both the couples was unfair, the red team had a lot more weight to begin with. Also did anyone notice how mean Sarah was to Rasha? Rasha was smiling and Sarah was glaring and Rasha said "that's a mean look" and Sarah replied " yeah and this is a lean waist " Who says that? Sarah was being a poor sport and I wish the team that deserved it the most had won.

Hi Beth,
I felt a little broken hearted for them, yes. In those few seconds I kept thinking that Caroline was going to announce that the wedding rings the couples had walked away from in the challenge were the runner-up prize.
They really looked great in the end. I wish them luck this weekend as they tie the knot.

Eating crow
Ok, after reading Beth's post I am retracting my "who cares they are winners" vote. Sounds like that Sarah was a real gem I can't believe she would be such a poor sport or be so hurtful. I saw them all on a daytime show when I was home from work one day (?Tyra show) and they seemed fine on that show but it would appear I am mistaken. Kuods to Beth for revealing the truth for those of us who did not see the finale show. Cheryl

I felt the same way you did Mia, I mean they could have given them something right? They didn't win a thing, maybe they should have eaten the cake at the challenge and at least walked away with the rings . And to Cherann21 I really liked Sarah and Steve the first episode and wasn't too much of a Rasha fan but it totally flopped when Sarah reacted that way I wish you could have seen it, it was ridiculous. Hey how is the Tyra show I've never seen it?

I felt the same way about the rings. THey were gauranteed to win something by eating the cake, and could have just convinced themselves to work harder after they eat it...Hindsight is always 20/20 I suppose.
I think the weight advantage is supposed to balance itself out, if one team outweighs another, the team with the smaller starting weight should lose a higher percentage in the first few weeks, but then in the end, if both teams get to an ideal weight, the team that weighed more initially has the advantage.
Edwin and Rasha might have walked away empty handed on the show, but they looked great at the weigh in and at the end of the show when they were dressed for the wedding. I bet they are more proud of their wedding pictures than the other couple.

I felt so bad for Edwin and Rasha, they are so cute together and they didn't win anything. I agree that I think the starting weight difference was a huge difference. When you have more weight to lose those starting pounds always come off faster, then when you get to the end it slows way down. Same thing happened last night on the Restaurant family edition. The family that had almost 100 lbs more combined weight lost a lost faster, you figure those starting days you are losing a ton of water weight.

No!!!!
The couple that should have won...won. They lost the biggest percentage of weight. They had more to lose which makes it an even tougher task and they did it. About the comment Sarah made...why did Rasha say anything to her in the first place? Instigating. Granted Sarah's response was not appropriate. This is not a personality contest anyway. It's about losing weight, getting healthier, reaching goals and that's what the winning team did.
Rasha and Edwin didn't win the dream wedding, or honeymoon, or chef but they did regain their health. So what if they weren't "the" biggest loser their lives are better for being involved in that show at all.

Sara was mean...
I agree with Beth. I noticed how mean Sara was from the beginning. She had an attitude like she was better than Rasha...it was sad to see. I think the ones who lost the most weight are the ones who deserve the money but you also have to remember that all that have lost weight are WINNERS! I would love to be on the show - if I didn't win the big bucks then so be it - at least I would have had the opportunity to make my life better by losing weight, becoming healthy and fit in such a short time.
I think they all did great - they all deserved something in the end. I think that is exactly what they all got - their lives back.
It is always a sad situation when you have a hateful person vs. a sweet person. I hope to not see another one like that on the show.
