Hi Patty Ann,

My husband loves the computer - and right now he is unemployed. You would think by the time I am home from work he would be tired of messing on the thing, but I usually have to kick him off if I want to use it

That is the way I can be...want to be on the computer all the time. My husband had his surgery on his knee yesterday so I won't be on it as much with him being home. I'll be busy running around the house for him...lol. I'm sure to get plenty of exercise this first week.

Talking Chat Idea...

Was wondering since the Biggest Loser is now on hiatus...If we could use that time slot for our weekly chat sessions? Let me know what you think. I am already in BL withdrawal. I have already watched Season 2 so much I swear I have it memorized.

I like that time for Chat. About 8pm Central time? I had originally said yes to 9pm, but now that I am trying to make sure I get 8 hrs. sleep, then I need to get off the computer at a reasonable time.

Patty Ann, I hope your husband is doing well. I have had 3 knee surgeries and I can well remember what I felt like coming home from the hospital. They always gave me a morphine drip and Vicodin. Just tell him to be careful of the pain meds, they are great when you are taking them, but the first day I stopped not only did my knee hurt, but they did a real number on me. I was shaky, couldn't keep a straight thought in my head and I cried all day. Bad stuff!

Elizabeth...why did you have so many surgeries on your knee? My sister has had more than that on her knee - she just recently had a Meniscus Transplant. Dan, my husband doesn't like taking any type of medication...I have had to force him to take the pain medication, as well as the Celebrex. He is done with the Celebrex and will refuse to take the medicine for his pain. I went out and got him some Tylenol PM so that he can sleep better w/no pain...he slept really good last night but he is afraid that he slept too good. One thing I never have to worry about is him getting addicted to pain medication - he is currently on Vicodin - it makes him sick to his stomach - and hates the way he feels when he is on it. That is why I have to force him to take it when he is in pain...he would rather deal with the pain then take the medicine.

Thanks!

My knee surgeries had do with all the things we were doing in the military. Like running up and down hills and hiking up mountains with a large backpack on, stuff like that.
