Looking for Moderators. - The Biggest Loser Fansite Forums

Well some of you may know that I am in the US navy. I will be leaving in April for 2 months so I wont be able to be on or monitor the site as much as I would need to.

So that brings me to needing a moderator or 2. This would mean you would basically have access to edit/delete/move posts. I would need someone like that incase someone posts some content or some links to illegal sites (which happens on forums quite often).

Experienced not required but be able to figure things out is.

Also this means after this month I wont be able to run the book/dvd contest for those 2 months. But I promise to run it again when I get back.

Sounds interesting...I have a hard time believing that people who post here would send links to illegal sites. Everyone is so nice!!

Well one way to advertise your website is to login to forums and create an account and make 1 post advertising your site then leave and never come back. Rinse and repeat.

So it does happen. Just hasnt happened too much here at all.

True, somebody on the NBC site tried to accuse me of "selling this site." I never went back.

Well I had a few PMs and I selected 2 people to help me out while I am gone. These 2 are susieokla and trying4thin. If you have any questions or notice something wrong here you can try to give them a PM as they now have permissions to edit/delete/move threads and posts.

For those of you that PMed me that were interested and I didnt not add you as a moderator I am sorry, but I cant add everyone.

I can honestly say that I am not worried about anyone here "misbehaving." This site pretty much runs itself. Use caution when you post, though. No page is completely bot free or spyware free. Keep really personal info out of your posts (email addresses, phone numbers, etc). You never know who is reading your posts. I am sure you guys all know this, but I would hate to lose a friend and fellow member because some hacker got revealing info from a post and was able to work their way into your pc and crash it. If any of you need or want to talk about something and dont want to post it to the world; Susie and I would be more than happy to lend an ear, or maybe even two! Would love to have a HUGE chat session sometime soon when we are all free. Any ideas for dates and times? Sunday's are good for me since that is my only free day of the week. My only request is that we dont do it during American Idol!!Everyone is welcome to come. The more, the merrier!
