Whether you loved her or hated her; she was a complete Hollywood presence. She passed away sometime Thursday in her hotel room at the age of 39. (There are articles everywhere on the net.) They are doing the autopsy today.

She had a very tough life and an even tougher last few months. Why is this relevent? Because she was a spokesperson for a major diet pill manufacturer. Maybe her death was caused my damage to her heart from the TrimSpa product? Maybe it was from all the drugs she did? Maybe she died of a broken heart after the loss of her son Daniel? Whatever the cause; her death is definitely continuing to shed light on the diet pill industry. TrimSpa was originally under fire after a loopy, slurring Anna Nicole tried to present an award on tv two years ago. Sure she lost the weight; but at what cost to her body? I dont agree with everything she has done in her life; but I do think that she needs to be able to have her privacy respected. After all this tragedy; maybe now she will have some peace.

Rest in peace Anna Nicole.

I had to pull my car over when I heard the news yesterday. Yes she had some serious issues and was known for some crazy stuff, but she was a person, a mother, and it just broke my heart.

I feel like the ONLY one that was ever in her corner was her son. But you cant expect a child to do the job of an adult. She was so desperate for people to be around her, she didnt see that she was more profitable to everyone strung out. I was horrified when I saw her on ET with her lawyer the night before she died. If he cared about her so much, why parade an obviously ill or strung out Anna on TV? She could barely put sentences together. My heart sank more hearing her estranged family run to the wolves (TV journalists) to start speculating on her and her money...when they admitted that they hadnt even seen Daniel in ten years.

I volunteered with drug/ alcohol addicted pregnant women and new mothers. This hits home, I have had to take a child away and call the police and DSS, but there was no way I could NOT do something when I saw a young woman spiraling out of control. Anna was very sick, we dont know if it was drugs or an illness, but it just is so sad that no one stood up and really took care of her.

and yes I thought about Trim spa, the conspiracy theorist in me says that if it was linked, we will never find out about it...too much money involved.

I too have a burden for Anna Nicole and her situation. I am keeping her family and especially the little one in my prayers. She was a poor, tormented soul just looking for something that the lies of the world couldn't give her.

May we learn from her life things that can help us.

I just needed a place to vent about this. I am sickened by what is going on. In life, Anna Nicole Smith was a joke to the media. From her marriage to that old man, to her self-titled reality show. Personally, I never cared for her, or anything she represented.
Stern is the creepiest of creeps. He totally manipulated her. Gave her drugs while she was pregnant.... What an SOB.
Then this battle over her body -- everyone --- EVERYONE involved should be ashamed. I saw Entertainment Tonight last night, and they kept saying how they were the 'only cameras allowed into the funeral'. Gee-- how much did that cost them? How much did Howard charge for the rights to cover the funeral? I've never watched ET very much, and I think I never will again.
Here's the thing --- I didn't care for Anna Nicole. I thought she was a joke too. But after her son died, and I saw some entertainment reporter interviewing her, I felt so sorry for her. It was brutal. Now, I can understand why she was even doing such an interview. Good old Howard set it up, and I'm sure profited from it. I started to see how manipulated she was. And now, since she died, there was footage of her released, dressed up in clown make up, pregnant, and obviously stoned on something, with Howard filming her saying 'this will be worth a lot of money', or something like that.
It's just sick, and this guy Howard is scary. I wouldn't be surprised if it came out that he staged the whole sordid thing. From her son's overdose, to Anna's. I really do think he slowly killed her. He knew she couldn't keep going forever. And he kept her stoned, so she didn't know what was going on, and had no choice but to trust him.
I think the media frenzy over this is sick too. And now Daniel's father wants his body exhumed and buried in Texas, so then Anna's body will be exhumed, and buried there too, since it was her wish to be buried next to her son.
What is wrong with these people? From lawyers, to judges, to Zsa Zsa Gabor's husband saying he's that baby's father.....
I am shocked and appalled by this whole mess. They are treating Anna Nicole like she wasn't even a real person. No one--- NO ONE--- who really cared about her, or ever cared about her, would have any part of this. Anna's mother, her ... eck.. 'boyfriend', and even her son Daniel's father..... none of them really care about Anna. It's about publicity, and of course MONEY.
That poor baby. They should take her away from all these vultures and let some nice normal family adopt her.
I'm sorry -- I know this was a rambling mess. I honestly with they would just lock up everyone involved in this -- everyone who has profited, or is trying to profit from her death. Howard K Stern is evil.

Glad I am not the only one who smelled a setup here. HKS looks like a stoner himself. I dont think for one second that Daniel killed himself or OD'd "by accident." Everyone Anna interacted with (financially or in court) has passed. Accident? I think not.

I heard Howard K Smith got paid 4 million by Entertainment Tonight..........he is definitely a scum bag. I just worry about that poor little girl...............
