Thanks for the support. My husband and I will get my video in the mail by the weekend. I was just concerned for OKC. He sent in his video and application last August. They asked him to come to Houston. I can't believe they just stuck him in line to go through the 6 minute introduction. They already had his video. I'm confused

Thanks Big Boy....I know what you mean about having a feeling. I have had the feeling that I am going to be on the show ever since I 1st heard they were casting back in July. I am pleased that so far....they seem to be interested in me.

Wouldn't be funny if we both made it on the show?

The only thing I have heard is that they are planning on casting in February and expect to start filming in mid March. I can tell you that yesterday I spoke with the last person to call me again. I called them to let them know that I was stilling working on the finishing details of my video (10-15 mins is a long time), and she told me to make sure that they received it my Friday. She also made sure that I had the correct shipping info (this one needed to be marked attn to a certain dept. etc. so it will get separated from the 1st time videos being sent in).

I will let you know if I hear anything else.

You will have to give a shout out to us by pulling on your ear or something like Carol Burnett did for her Mom It sounds very promising for both of you - I am very excited and look forward to checking the boards every day! If I make it on the show......you will know it is me.....cuz I will most likely be the oldest one on the show....and will have a lot of "junk in my trunk".

My 2nd tape turned into a disaster! Something went wrong with the audio....and we couldn't fix it. I had to retape it....I had no other choice. At 1st I was upset because I had to change the context of the video.....but in the long run....I think the second one turned out better.

My new theme was like a continuing saga of my 1st video....Junk in the Trunk Lady. I sent it express mail yesterday (today was my deadline of getting it to them).

I am keeping my fingers and toes crossed.

Sounds like a lot of excitement has been going on around here. I hope every one is doing well.

Junk in the Trunk - I am glad you caught the audio problem before you sent it in! I guess things happen for a reason and maybe your second tape will be exactly what they want to see.

Someone mentioned to me the other day that some of the reality shows give financial compensation for their contestants while they are away. I hadn't even thought about this. I just guessed my husband would have to do some good budgeting if I made it. Does anyone know if this show "pays" while you are away?

As February gets closer it is getting harder to wait for "the call". My family and I are going to Seattle over Presidents weekend. We get a little supersticious and are always looking for signs that something good is going to happen so we thought that would be so appropriate if I got a call while we were in Seattle since I auditioned there. I'll just have to keep my fingers crossed too!

I see there is one more open audition. Is anyone from these boards going to that one?

Yes, I live in Vancouver. On chat rooms I usually just say SW Washington, otherwise most people think I live in Canada. Were you on the news the other day? They had someone who was trying out for the show but I just caught the tail end of the story.

Good Luck to all of you! Please post updates on your continued communication with TBL casting. I never made a video It was too hard to do alone, and my husband travels on business a lot. I figured that Kaitlyn had already formed an opinion about me anyway, and sending in a DVD would be a waste of my time. I was not sure about the date either, and I figure it is cut off by now. Soo I'm looking forward to watching season 4 on TV this Summer/ Fall :^) I wish you all the best!!
