Exclamation weighting

Hey all,
this is my first post on the forum. I went for an open call in Chicago for episode 3 and I got a call the same night telling me Congratulations your a finalist and we would like to do a on camera interview!! I was so excited I felt alive for the first time in awhile! Anyway the on camera interview was very low key but fun!The producers told me to get my video done and to mail it asap.. after looking at all the criteria they wanted in only 10 min. was a little overwhelming 2 days later I got another call and was asked if I had my video done I said noo Mary you need to get it done and mail it to this new address with a code word on it. I was so thrilled imade my tape the next morning and shipped it out that day. It was very promising... I was so hopeful. when they posted the casting hotline # after the San Diego open call I was calling everyday... March 12th came and went no call!I called the hotline and it said that all the contestants were called and I wasnt soo sad. Anyway I missed the open call in Chicago for season 4 but I did apply and Im 42 so I can only hope and wonder at this point!!
Best of Luck to all the applicants out there. Its like should I eat or should I forget about the show and just start losing the weight!

Hey, My name is Heather and I am brand new to the site. Still no idea what I am doing but hopeing that wont last long. I just sent an audition DVD and app. in the mail last week. Was hoping to be cast for season 4. Is that a pipe dream? Can anyone tell me a little bit about how casting works? Thanx for any help you can give.

I think it might be too late for season 4 but it never hurts to try! Last I heard they were going to let the finalists know who they are by mid to late February. Best of luck with all of your efforts - both auditions and weight loss.

When is or was the deadline for sending in audition tapes?

Do you know when the cut-off date is for submitting audition tapes? Thank you.

It looks like they are still accepting applications. On NBC's Biggest Loser site they still have the announcement for the application. Give it a try!

Good Luck!!!!!

Smile Question?? Regarding BL4 auditions....

Hi Everyone....
I'm pretty much a greenhorn here.....Not only am I new to all of you and this "thread"....but I have not been in a lot of chatrooms, so I hope I am doing everything right, here!

My question is: Can anyone tell me about the standing in line part of this experience? Do people camp out all night on the sidewalk to make sure they are one of the first 500?....I know people have done that for concert tickets. Or could you just get in line at like 5 am? Do people bring coolers/food/extra people to switch off with for bathroom breaks, etc??? Is there some sort of protocol that I should know about?

I am not worried about the audition part at all, but I am worried about getting to be in the first 500 people!! So, I really want to know what to expect so that I can be as prepared as possible.

Thank you so much, everyone! Good luck to those who are going too, I'll see you in Des Moines!

Does my age matter?

Hi Everyone,
It seems as if you all know a lot about the biggest loser show and how to join it and what not and I just had a question. (I'm a rambler.) I'm 18 and I wanted to send in an audition tape for the show, but I don't know if they'd even consider me. I know that you have to be 18 and above, but do you really think that they would consider me? Thank You for your time.

Sincerely,
Jalissay26
