Season 4 Auditions
Well I guess by them doing auditions already for Season 4 that means it will be on in the Spring time next year then. Or maybe its another special edition.
This is all the information that I have found. Head to the NBC site for more details.
Team West Coast can go to calls in Seattle on July 1, Salt Lake City on July 8, Denver on July 15, and Los Angeles on July 22.
Team Midwest calls are in Minneapolis on July 1, Chicago on July 8, St. Louis on July 15, and Des Moines on July 22.
Team East Coast calls are in Boston on July 1; New York City on July 8; Norfolk, Virginia on July 15; and Columbus, Ohio on July 22.
Team South calls are in Jacksonville on July 1, Atlanta on July 8, Nashville on July 15, and Houston on July 22.

I would say if they're calling it auditions for season 4, then it wouldn't just be special editions. I really enjoyed the special editions, but I think another full season would be better. I think it's a little more fun when you actually have the chance to get to know some of these people. ( well, know them as well as you can on a tv reality show!) Good luck to anyone auditioning!

Yeah, I hope they do the full season as well. I like the special editions for a change...but I'd like to see something longer term as well. I agree with muppet that it's nice to get a chance to get to know the people on the show and hear their struggles and see them make progress. I find it's more inspiring to me that way.

In the Process
Hey All-
Just signed up and happy to be here with you all. I am in the process of casting for Season 4. I went to the casting call, had a call back with two CD's the next day and was then handed a packet of more questions and an extensive background check. I was also asked to send in a 10 minute video. This all seems promising to me, but what do I really know?
Anyone else have experience with the casting process? I spoke with Ryan from Season 2 and it sounds like they have changed up the process some.
Wish me luck and any knowledge would be fantastic!

Hi and welcome to our little corner of the world. Congratulations on the call back. What a great opportunity you have been given. Any advice? Just do your best, show them who you are on the inside and out, and I am sure you will do great. Please dont take this the wrong way; I look forward to seeing you get your ass kicked by Bob in Season 4. (hahaha)
Seriously though, I have never applied to be a contestant. So I dont have any idea what they are looking for. Perhaps determination level, personality, and overall work ethic. When I was at my top weight of 214, there is no way I could have handled Jillian screaming in my face or 5 plus hours a day of sweating and pain. Part of me wonders if I could do it now...
Please keep us informed. I would love to say that we knew you (way back when) before you became a tv star and big loser!
Best of luck!
~Carrie

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. Hopefully I'll get to watch your journey on television! But, if not, I hope you still continue on the weight loss journey on your own. I've almost lost 50 pounds and it feels great. I still have about 80 to go, but I'll get there.
Good to have you here

Hi guys!
I went to the casting call in Atlanta and got a call back a few hours later. I go in for my taped interveiw on Tuesday. I'm trying not to get my hopes up and am failing miserably Just wanted to drop in a meet a few fans of the show and some fellow fighters in the Battle of the Bulge!
