Biggest Loser for Kids

You look at Bob and you can just see the big kid within.....With so many children being hit with obesity in todays epidemic, i would love to see a kids biggest loser, and helping to educate children so they can lead a better and healthier lifestyle.

I agree that the show would be a good idea...however most of the blame is should be on the parents for the choices they have made in regards to their kids eating/exercising habits. If you set a good example from the get go, there really is no excuse for an overweight child. I do realize some people have health problems and whatnot when it comes to weight loss, but unless the child buys all their food for every meal, there is no one to blame but the adults.

i totally blame myself for my child being overweight because i was 15 when i had her and had no idea how to raise a child then and tryed to do my best but most of the time my mother in law had her and everytime she would cry she would stuff a bottle in her mouth and then it got to the point that whatever she asked for in food grandma gave it to her and still does and i cant get it to stop without not letting her be with grandma without me there every second...

I wasn't trying to be rude about your post. I just think that more adults need to be educated on a healthy lifestyle before they can expect their children to be healthy. I just meant that educating the parents first might help the rising obesity problems in children. My parents taught me healthy eating and I still managed to get big, so not everything is parents. My choices were made after college and I had to live with my mistakes.

parents are up against alot

I'm 41 home entertainment having changed so much since I was a kid. We used to run around outside because TV sucked-12 channels. Now kids have o much they don't even have to move at all. I remember the wost thing in the H.S. cafateria was cinamon buns and fluff-PB sandwhiches High fructose corn syrup is in everything now and that just gums up the metobolism horribly. Commercials targeting young minds. At least there is a little bit of change going on now.
