I like the idea of forcing folks to lose everything in the real world, instead of at some fat camp. (no offense meant, but it reminds me of a tv show I watched last weekend about kids at fat camp) What a disgusting thing to tell you kids, that they're going to "fat camp", why can't it be "fit camp" meaning it's supposed to help them become more fit?

But we don't get to know people as well as you do on the original. Well, know them as well as the editors want us to!

I think I saw the same show. Was it on MTV? I wouldn't want to send any of my kids to that camp. I'm not sure how much they really helped them. But then again, maybe a lot of those kids are there, because someone else wants them to be. You can't force someone to lose weight, and make lifestyle changes. You can't shame them into it. They have to want it. And I'm not sure all of these kids did.

I saw parts of the MTV show also "I'm going to fat camp" I hope it did some good for the kids but I believe with overweight kids it really starts at home. The parents have to take some responsibility. I know you can't be with your kids 24/7 but when they're at home you can have a say so about what they eat and it all starts with what you buy and bring home from the grocery store.

I use to be the worse example to my kids. I hope I'm doing alot better. They see that I eat better and exercise and I don't buy all of the junk food. I do buy them sweets and they can have 1 a day but not all of the chips and dip and hot dogs and other junk we use to eat all of the time.

I do like the having to keep up diets at home as being more of a true test. However, I'm just eager that in less that a week the show will be back on! It inspired me just as it took a break from being aired -and I can't wait for the motivation again.

Hi everyone,
I applied for BL and got an email requesting a short bio and more pics. A week or two later i recieved a phone call and they left a message to call back ASAP. When i tried to return the call after the weekend I got nobody. When I called back the day after that I was told that all my questions would be answered by the hotline and they forwarded me there. Here is the problem: I had no questions, I was just returning a phone call as was requested of me. They are supposed to announce finalists monday the 13th via phone call. My optimism towards making the show isn't as high as it was before the initial phone call. I would love a chance at the show, and now i just have to wait and see.
