When you mail in your audition tape, they will view it and if they want to see more of you, they will call and set up an on-camera interview. Good Luck!!

I have really enjoyed the special editions. Maybe that is because we only have to wait an extra week to see the amazing results. I am a teacher and feel it would really be hard to take off the necessary time to be on Biggest Loser 3, but would love information on how to appy to be on a special edition. Does anyone have any information on that?

OH - THANK GOODNESS for the extension. I didn't get my tape sent in - I thought that it wasn't meant to be - well, maybe it is meant to be. I still have a chance! Thanks for posting this - I might even consider redoing my tape!

ehyatt, I am a teacher also but am at a private school so have a bit more flexibility with my schedule. I remember that during the finale, Caroline Rhea mentioned that they were looking for diff. types of teams and to go to the web site for more information. I did see that they were looking for diff. combinations of people for special show. I wasn't interested in that at the time so I didn't delve further. They will probably do it again. Just put the NBC BL site on your list of favorites and check every now and then when the new season starts. Good Luck! It would be cool to have a special teacher's edition. We could do it over christmas break and then come back for the finale weigh in during the summer break.

I really love this show. It is so inspiring. It keeps me motivated and makes me realize I am not dieting but changing my way of life and will never diet again.

I think this is the best show on TV and America really needs it.

Excellent idea Michele! I think a teacher edition would be awesome! After all we are subjected to every cold the children have and every goodie that they bring in to their class parties. As teachers, we have always "taken one for the team" so to speak-it would be great to finally get ours. And just think of what an inspiration it would be to all the students!

Hi Tina! I am from MO, too - north of Kansas City...where are you? They had a casting call in Kansas City, MO not too long ago. I was going to go but didn't have a sitter for my children - my sister was sick in the hospital. You are still able to apply for the show...you have until Feb 17th. Go to nbc.com and click on the biggest loser to apply. It is very easy to do. Lots of luck to you!
