Wishing for a new Format

I wish the Biggest Loser didn't vote people off Survivor-style. I think it really should be the person out of everyone who loses the greatest percentage of weight and that everyone should get equal time to exercise.

It's sad to see people get voted off the ranch after just one week with the trainers. Maybe they could vote for people to have to eat plates of dessert all week or something? Just a suggestion -I hate people not to get to participate in the whole training time.

I like that when they get voted off, they get the opportunity to go home and continue to work on their own an they do have a prize for one at the finaly so they may not be on tv, but they are still in the game.

It is really inspiring to see the people that go home first come back to the finale having lost so much weight! They must pack a lot of knowledge about diet and exercise into those first couple of weeks.

I'd like to see the smallest loser voted off every week. If you aren't working your tail off to be there, then you shouldn't be allowed to stay. Just because everyone else in your group may have kicked butt doesn't mean you should qualify for a free ride!

The contenstants shouldn't have to vote the other ones off. I don't think it should be the smallest loser either. People lose weight at different paces even though they are working out just as hard as the next person. Especially when it comes to men and women. Men always lose more faster.

I don't really know what would be a fair way of eliminating somebody. Maybe they should let them all stay until the end and whoever has lost the most at the end is the biggest loser. I guess they have to put the drama in there though to keep people interested.

they will have to change it in the next series otherwise it will lose its appeal.

lets have the voting weakest link style. just one big team and their hard work is rewarded by an increasing prize based on weight lost. each week each member votes off who they think is the weakest team member. discussing votes should be banned before the vote. the biggest looser or challenge winenr could be given immunity.

It would be nice to see a longer period before they start voting people off, but I guess if they go there and it motivates the change in lifestyle they can do it at home. If they learn heaps they will use it and reach their goals.

For it to be entertaining they have to build a relationship within their team and then with the audience and by them having people eliminated gives drama and emotional connection. If it were a place where they had paid to be educated and trained then nobody would go until the end, but making it into a game allows the whole thing to change and remain interesting for our ever so short attention spans. You can tell that for the producers it is all about getting audiences emotionally invested and then tearing their hearts out only to have a big finale with dramatic changes which restore our desire to see more.

Neither by smallest weight lose or largest lose, therefore being the biggest threat to the winning of the game, seems fair. Personal connections and friendship based alliances seem equally unfair. However very few things in life are fair and the current method seems to be the most entertaining.

Lastly I suppose the dwindling numbers allow the trainers and the contestants to focus and spend more time working out.
