Well standing on the outside looking in, you can take things many ways.
Every one on the ranch is a winner. The new contestant Adrian, yes i can see 2 points of view:
1- Coming out of a new routine, and comfort zone, walking into a already formed group, knowing that they are out to vote you off the second they can be an emotional rollercoaster, and when you are only shown the clips of her upset and angry, makes her look to be a whinger...And everyone here knows how challenging it it is to lose weight and how up and down you can get...
but on the other hand
2- She came on the ranch, knowing the challenge and how the other contestants were going to be....it's going to be tough, and mostly feel sorry for the trainer and the contestents...having to deal with their own crap yet alone Adrian's...when someone else could have glady excepted and been honored to be there...

Given all this, it is a show...and it is a game. Everyone has their own secrets and alliances within... And when we only see bits and pieces, you cant just assume...
Please all take no offence to this, it is not directed to anyone personally,,,

Adrians big fit was ridiculous.
A. She looked like a big baby having a tantrum.
B. She didn't need to win immunity. She should have stayed cool, and had the confidance in herself to say 'So what -- I can't win this, but that doesn't mean I'm out of the game!"
I think her later attitude ('they're all going to be burning calories -- I need to too') was much healthier.
I wonder if any one else has ever had issues with a challenge like she did. But they've just not shown it.... It seems to me like they are really playing this up -- gotta keep the drama leve high, to get ratings, I guess.

I really do think Adrian set herself up for this. She was crying, how she could never get past 160. I think she just gave up. Not completely, but I think she gave up trying to lose more. She's still obviously trying, or else she would have gained back lots more weight. I hope she isn't discouraged or embarassed, and just give up completely. She does seem to me the type that would easily throw her hands in the air and say 'It's no use.. I give up!" Maintaining is just as tough as losing, so I really hope she sticks with it.

My hubby commented to me on the fact that she gained since she left the ranch. We all have to keep in mind that this is a tv show and the editors and producers are going to cut the clips to show drama to keep viewers interested. We saw the absolute worst of Adrian. I admit it, I did not like her whining and tantrums but we can thank the producers for showing that. I'm sure there were other times with other contestants that we didn't see for whatever reason. I know I read an interview in Muscle and Fitness Hers on Kim Lyons and it had the reporter following the red team during a workout and it stated that Kai was flipping off and cussing at Kim. I don't remember seeing that aired. I think that's Kai's personality though. She's loud and animated and I don't think she hides her emotions, good or bad. No, I didn't like Adrian but I do think the show was cut to show her theatrics.
