Next show: Oct. 18
I think the blue team is due to win a challenge. I hope they don't focus so much on the red team. I have to admit, I didn't enjoy last weeks episode, with all the drama, as much as I usually do. The week before that too, when Nelson got eliminated was tough to watch.
It has just been reminding me of other reality shows, with the scheming, fighting and plotting. And while I expect a certain amount of that, this show is about so much more than just winning in the end. People are changing their lives, whether they get eliminated early, or not. And they should be working together, encouraging and supporting one another. I know winning the game is a big deal, but it shouldn't be 'at all costs'.
I hope a woman on the red team goes. It really could be any woman on that team, but Heather bothers me the most, because of the way she acts during the challenges.
I hope we see more of the journey, and less of the other kind of drama. I find it inspiring to see them working hard, and pushing through the pain. I don't enjoy watching the show nearly as much, when I spend most of the time rooting against someone.

I totally agree... I don't find myself pulling for people to succeed as much as I am complaining about the women on the red team. I know some of it is tv editing and they want us to hate them... but I don't think it is all editing... I look forward to the time when all the red team women getting picked off one by one... GO blue team!!

I am still rooting for someone on the red team to win the overall competition. I prefer Kim's training methods over Bob's.

Go Blue! I don't like Kim and can barely tolerate her team. I would love Eric, Amy or Brian to win overall.

I'm still a big fan of Ken, on the Red Team. He's from Washington State, where I live. He seems to have a lot of heart. But other than him, I prefer the people on the Blue Team. I hope there is less drama and more inspiration in coming weeks!

I like one or two people on the red team, but that combination on the whole is bad. I'm hoping for 2 blue team wins tonight. But mostly, I agree with Muppett that I want to see encouragement, people breaking through the barriers that have gotten them to this weight. I want to see people do things they didn't think they could, I want to be inspired.
I love Blue team's Brian, although I don't think Blue's Amy has it in her to be the BL. Hope they all lose a lot of weight whatever happens.

I hope the blue team can pull off winning both the challenge and the weigh in...I think we're all a little sick of the red team and how dramatic they're making the show...As you all said, its about the weightloss! Unfortunatly, I think the red team will vote off Wylie and then Ken before the girls go after each other...The only hope for the two boys is for the teams to be changed which probably wont happen until there are 6 or 8 people left...
I want to talk about the unrealisticness of a woman being the biggest loser...There are really only a few ways this is ever going to happen...
1) They get a woman on the show who is 300+ minimum(some of the guys are 400+)
2) Three girls make it to the finals
3) The other competitors don't give it their all at home
When it came down to the final three in season one, Ryan weighted the most in the beginning and lost the highest %, in season two, Matty weighted the most and lost the highest %...This is a pattern I think will follow into this season...Of course it depends whos eliminated but by potential they line up like this...
1) Erik 407lbs
2) Nelson 404lbs Out
3) Marty 365lbs
4) Ken 358lbs
5) Bobby 321lbs
6) Brian 308lbs
7) Wylie 307lbs
8) Kai 262lbs
9) Amy 260lbs
10) Tif 255lbs Out
11) Pam 247lbs
12) Jen 245lbs Out
13) Melinda 236lbs Out
14) Heather 223lbs
I think it's going to be interesting when we get down to just a few people left...

I really shouldn't say I'm anti-red team.
But I'm glad the you get what I was saying. I do think those women take away from why we all love the show so much. I shouldn't blame them-- we know who picked them, and who does the editing. They are who they are-- but the producers seem to like to focus on them.
Once, I checked out what they had to offer from TBL on Itunes. I read some people's comments. There are some people out there who watch this show to make fun of fat people. And, I know, these are small-minded, horrible people, but I just hope they aren't trying to attract more of this kind of audience, by including some of this nonsense, and by picking people to be on the show who are likely to cause conflict. As I've said, this reminds me too much of other reality shows.
I was so disappointed last time, when they wasted so much of the show on the red team's ( womens) whining. It's one thing to complain about how hard a workout is, or about being hungry, but it's another when they 'just don't feel like it". I know there's always going to be tears, and lots of emotion. And I love that about the show. I just wish it was more significant than the rubbish they are showing now, with those 'red women'.
I'm glad Kim was able to reach them, but I bet it's short lived. I wouldn't be surprised if she loses them again, somewhere down the road.

All I can say is that 3/4 of the people on this show are ticking me off. The whole show is starting to stink.
Heather wasnt that bad this week; but both Pam and Kai have picked up where she left off. Pam is turning into quite the loudmouth. Kai and her eyerolls/shooting dirty looks when others do well, are both rude and annoying.
Soooo happy for Wylie and his 9 lb loss. Ken got really lucky after quitting the challenge. He would have been axed tonight for sure if the red team had lost since Wylie was the biggest loser of the week and would have gotten immunity. The girls wont turn on each other...yet.
Amy looks incredible. Looks like the blue team is finally beginning to play dirty. I think Erik is a great guy but he is starting to remind me of Mo from season 1. I think Marty has an excellent chance to win and so do Bobby and Brian.

I dont like the girls on the red team, Pam ticked me off this week, everyone works with what is comfy for them, not for her. Ken is still a big guy, hes lost alot but he was also bigger to begin with. I think she handled it all wrong, swearing at him etc. If I was him I probably would have stopped too, but just to tick her off.
Amy looks awesome, but I think the blue team made the right choice, I hear people that have lost weight, say all the time that the smaller you get the harder it is to lose. The guys have more to work with.
