The people who were sent home are in a contest of their own. Of the 36 that went home; the man and the woman who lose the most get to come back and compete for the BL title and cash. Not sure if it is the most pounds lost; or the percentage of weight loss. But I am sure the guys slugging it out at the ranch wont be too pleased. They are having some great results at home.

No problem. I can see why you are confused. This year's BL is much different than in previous years.

Welcome to the board.

No, the ones who were originally casted on the show and stayed at the ranch cannot come back to win the Biggest Loser prize if they were voted out.

The ones who have been at home the whole time, 2 of them with the highest fat percentage loss come back to the show to compete.

I'd thought it was just 1 at home contestant, thanks for clearing up that it's 1 man and 1 woman. Since the at home contestants are doing as well or better, really makes you feel like there are no excuses doesn't it? I'm so happy for all of them. Cheers!

I think the ones voted out can get like a consolation prize right? I think Dave won that last year. He lost the highest percentage of fat from the group voted off. I didn't really like him I wanted Pete to win that. But they can't be the biggest loser. That might be changed this year too..who knows.

I think so....

But honestly; who cares about the money you win? (Makes for a motivator though) I'd rather have my life and health back. Cant spend $$$ when you are in the ground.

Then again; I wouldnt want to go back on national tv having lost next to nothing...or even gained. If I were Kathryn; I wouldnt have shown my face at the reunion.

It would be good if we could see more of how they are all doing at home
