Low Fat Pizza
Enjoy a lower fat pizza treat by assembling your own. Use whole wheat pita bread as a base, with some low-sodium tomato sauce on top. Sprinkle a reduced fat cheese blend over the sauce. For extra nutritional value, load your pizza with plenty of vegetables, such as baby spinach, fresh tomatoes, red onion, sweet peppers, mushrooms and zucchini. For meat lovers, try using extra-lean ground beef, extra-lean ham, turkey bacon or crumbled turkey sausage instead of their higher fat counterparts.

I love doing this! And guess what? I dont miss the original version. If I do, I get a Lean Cuisine Pizza Margherita. But these are soooo much less calories and fat. Better yet, they cost next to nothing to make. With frozen food, you are paying extra for the BOX, not the product.
Wonder if I could make a Mexican Taco Pizza?

I have never tried making my own pizza before but it sounds fun. I found this idea when I was google-ing and now I really want to try it out.

We should have a Most Original Pizza Toppings Contest...Just for fun. My ideas are sooo unoriginal. And pepperoni is out of the question for me since I am cracking down.
Who can come up with the whackiest combo pizza?

Well, some people think this is wacky, but I don't. You see this kind of pizza all over. I love ham, (or canadian bacon) and pineapple. YUM!!! Some people just think it's crazy to put fruit on a pizza. Oh, they don't know what they're missing!!!!
I would also try a BBQ chicken pizza. Is BBQ sauce a no-no? Do they make a 'healthier' version?

I think Carb Options makes a low carb Barbecue Sauce. (Blue label) They make great Ketchup and other sauces/dressings/food products too. But my store has discontinued the ketchup. I dont think BBQ sauce is bad for you; but watch the sugar and calorie counts per serving. Then use fresh pineapple or the canned version in light syrup, or canned in it's own juices. Bet a homemade version would be cheaper and tastier! I used to like Canadian Bacon. I dont think Hawaiian pizza is gross (never tried it though). Many pizza places areound here have a version of it. So they must be selling.

ooo I forgot they also have a desert pizza...I'm sure it's high in fat because it has frosting on it...but they have either apple or strawberries on it.
